Great idea but simple enough I could have made it and not spent the money. The labels were stuck all over the container and they will not come off without leaving a horrible sticky mess and taking off the design. My son loves basketball so this was a great concept just poorly executed.

My son is struggling to read and itâs hard to keep him engaged. He thoroughly enjoys this game and even wants to do more. Highly recommend for kids that donât love reading

The premise here is an obvious winner. The product is sturdily made. And the $14 list price is exactly where it should be. There are a few things holding this back from a full 5 stars though.CONS:There are 2 categories of words (Pre-K and Kindergarten), but words in these categories seem randomly assigned (EX: “Where” in Pre-K, “On” in Kindergarten). The instructions try getting you to push the slot out of the top for the basketball game type, but this will break your game box (just remove the top altogether). The blue-sided words are more difficult to read than the orange. The barcode sticker is directly on the product, because this doesn’t come wrapped in any way. And the seller tries convincing you (in multiple places) that you need 2 of these in order to play with multiple people (not the case at all; just assign each player a color, etc.).Nonetheless, this is a difficult idea to screw up. All of the spelling is correct. The recommended ruleset makes sense (even with the minor translation issues). There’s room to create your own higher levels of difficulty, or think up different uses. And there being 2 words on each “ball” really does keep this interesting for the kiddos.In spite of its shortcomings, this is a fun learning tool; one which I highly recommend for the more action-oriented children in your life.

Fun and educational
My kids didn’t realize they are learning while playing this game. My son has loved making baskets when he gets the words correct! Easy to play and fun for both child and parent. It is very durable, so has lasted longer than most games. Definitely recommend for your sports loving kids that may need some extra help with sight words!
