Inexpensive, Accurate, Reliable, Rechargeable
Greetmed Blood Pressure Monitor (BPM) Upper Arm Automatic Talking Blood Pressure Cuff is fairly inexpensive for a rechargeable BPM. The numbers are consistent and seem reasonable. I was able to disable the Voice function by reading the set-up instructions. This model costs a little more than the others with replaceable batteries but it is worth it because the permanent Lithium battery is easily rechargeable with the Type C USB. Replacing the batteries was always a hassle on previous BPMs I used. It takes quite a bit of power to pressurize the cuff, so even alkaline batteries were expended after a few dozen uses. The instructions indicate it can be used entirely with USB-C alone if the battery runs down, although I would probably let it charge for a few minutes first. There is an interesting paragraph in the instruction manual recommending running the battery all the way to zero every few months then fully recharging to “refresh” the battery. I will wait until there is a problem get the cuff to pressurize before I try that. The instructions also say a battery symbol will be displayed when it is time to recharge. I will use that feature to ensure I don’t charge it too often and wear out the battery.

Love the rechargable battery
I’ve always had issues with regular monitors. Every time I’d go to use them, the batteries would be dead. The rechargeable batteries seem to last longer than regular batteries, and it’s so easy to plug it into my phone charging cord. It seems to be accurate and consistent (some I’ve tried are all over the place sample to sample). Only down side is it’s awkward to change from User 1 to user 2, which I use to track the difference between arms. Other than that, it would be 5 stars.

Inaccurate readings
replacing an older blood pressure monitor with this new device. My blod pressure has been under control with medication for years but leans toward the high side. The very first attempt using this device i received an Error message, second attempt i got the 82/52 reading. Have taken many readings since mostly too low for me to have confidence in device. I am returning
Got this for my momâs birthday and we instantly went back to the 90âs!!! –

Decent basic BP monitor
Review for: Blood Pressure Monitor Upper Arm Automatic Talking Blood Pressure Cuff, Rechargeable Blood Pressure Machine for Home Use Digital Led Display, Adjustable 8.7″-16.5″ Large Bp Cuff Dual User Model. This BP monitor is pretty basic, but it seems to be accurate. It has a nice bright display showing BP and pulse. It supports two users. It has a built in rechargeable battery, and comes with the USB cable for recharging. It does not record date and time of measurements. I have a similarly priced unit that has date/time, but doesn’t have a built in battery. Setup would have been easy if the instructions were better. Instructions are not very clear. I was able to set it up, but changing users is not clear at all. It remembers the last user so it is one button push (start/stop button) to get your BP. However; to change users it takes multiple buttons. You have to long press the setup button to get a flashing user icon. Then press the mem button to change icons. Then press start/stop to set the user. Then press start/stop to start the measurement. This is not documented in the instructions and took some time to figure out. 4 or 5 stars for measurement, 2 stars for instructions, 3 stars for features (no date and time stamps), for a 3 to 3 1/2 star overall rating.

Instructions aren’t great – fairly accurate – too annoying to change users
Context: I had a VERY old BP cuff that needed a serious technology update. We’re reasonably healthy, but we are of a “certain age,” so we proactively keep an eye on these things. I was looking for ease of use and accuracy. This ticked both boxes… pretty well.BP cuffs are typically not hard to use right out of the box just to get a reading, and this one wasn’t. It’s a one-button kind of thing. The tricky part is using all the functions and getting used to the myriad icons on the screen. That takes a lot more reliance on instructions. So far the readings for both of us are coming out where we know our BP usually sits as shown by our physicians in their office and our other cuff. The accuracy seems to be fine. I will never trust an at-home unit over my doctor’s equipment, but if you are not in dire straits for your heart health and needing critically accurate readings, this will do for just a basic monitoring. The instructions to learn about all those functions are mediocre. I got them figured out, but you have to read it a few times. The machine has a function to keep track of 2 different people separately. It isn’t worth all the fussing around in our opinion. Again, if it’s critical to your process, it might be fine for you. There are definitely different health monitoring needs. The switch isn’t objectionable, it’s just a lot of button presses each time. The voice function can be turned off. It took a hot minute to figure out how, but you can do it. We turned it off right away because it is very loud, and if you have no sight issues, it can be very annoying. The screen is exceptionally easy to see for most people, so you might have to dig into the instructions and get the voice turned off. If you have sight challenges, believe me, the voice is loud and clear. You will not mistake what “she” is saying. The battery is still going strong after a month of occasional use with no indication of running out. It’s easy to charge. The storage bag quality is mediocre. I don’t use it because getting the cuff, machine, and tubing in it is more annoyance than I’m willing to do, so I have a different storage solution. That is completely a personal preference, so no stars removed for that opinion. The cuff accommodates a fairly large arm. It easily accommodates both myself and my husband without taxing it’s maximum ability at all. I have “bat wings” a bit, so it even accommodates that (and his biceps) without any trouble.I haven’t figured out any memory function, and I don’t believe it has it. There does not appear to be a record of previous readings at all. That’s why I took off a star. If you’re concerned about your BP enough to buy a cuff for home use, then there is a good chance that a memory function is important. That’s the only star deduction from me.I think this product is probably at the high end of what I think is a good price. I wouldn’t object to having paid it, but if my BP was a big concern, I might shop around just a little bit and be prepared to pay a premium for a really good unit. Four stars because it is accurate to the listing and does, in fact, do what it says it will do. The quality is appropriate to the price, albeit just. And the listing does not promise anything that the machine does not actually do. It just doesn’t super impress me.
