Iâve been looking for a blood pressure monitor for my mom, and wanted to find just the right one. I liked the fact that this one was a comfortable cuff that is adjustable (which makes a huge difference). I also wanted to make sure to have a voice function which I think will be easier for her. This one has voice prompts which she seems to like. (When I tested it on myself, I used it without the voice function, so itâs nice to have the option.) The display is easy to read and straight-forward. This blood pressure monitor also has a nice carrying case which is helpful to keep it protected and easy to find. Itâs easy to use but there is an instruction manual for reference if needed. All in all, I believe it is a good choice for an older adult like my mom, but could easily be used by most anyone who needs a cuff blood pressure monitor.

I Don’t Understand the 5 star reviews
This arrived and was returned on the same day. We’ve previously used a cuff BP monitor for many years that was extremely accurate, so we know how to use one properly.This one never gave us an accurate reading. It was always around 40 mm below when compared to the visiting nurse. Also, the voice, which is very jarring, would not stay turned off. I can understand it being good for people with limited visibility, but we didn’t need it, and she wouldn’t stop.Mostly, however, it was the inconsistency and erroneous readings that made us return it. (The nurse got a manual reading of 122/72, and the cuff read 56/45.)As I said before, we need something somewhat accurate: this unit is far from it.
