This was a game changer for my daughter
My daughter has been fighting me on learning to read. She knows all the letter sounds but when I tell her to sound something out she acts like she canât. So in an effort to find something that would help and gamify the process, I found these pop-its and had her try it. She didnât argue and immediately got 100% accuracy on the cards as theyâre set up in a way her mind can grasp.

Good for one-on-one teacher/student use
This is a way to reinforce CVC word knowledge with students. The pop-its attract their attention. The activity exercises their brains (IF they are playing as intended). I have found that I need to be present to get the full, intended use out of this activity. Otherwise, it’s a pop-it for textural exploration.

Great
My 4-year-old with a delay is using this to help him with spelling and is becoming aware of the phonological sounds. He thinks it’s a game because of the pop it. The multi-sensory is calming, he can concentrate longer. (2/5 minutes)
