A Very Nice Value
They’ve done a decent job with these. The package they come in is easily wrappable and securely holds all 9 candles. Each candle tin arrived undamaged, ensconced in its own pocket in the foam holder. There’s no glass at all, so that helps.The tins get hot when they’re lit and the wax starts to melt, so they need to be burned on a fireproof surface.I was able to recognize the vanilla, lemon, strawberry, rose, jasmine, spring and bergamot ones without looking at the label on the bottom. While I couldn’t identify the lavender or gardenia ones by aroma, they didn’t smell bad or anything, just not really identifiable, at least for me.I got these not so much for their current contents, for I rarely buy scented things online due to the unpredictability of the results, but for the tins. Once the current wax is gone, I’ll stick them in a low-grade oven (not too hot because I don’t want the paint to peel or anything), melt whatever wax is left, pour it out, wipe with a paper towel, and replace it with my own colored homemade wax, which I never scent.In my opinion, as a candlemaker, even if these tins didn’t contain acceptable fragrances, I’d still want them because they’ll make charming holders for other candles once emptied. And that doesn’t even include colorfully holding things like spare coins, rings, keys, paper clips, etc.While not perfect, for the price, I’m pleased, and the aromas are all pleasant, even if not all easily id’ed. So 5 stars for a nice value.

These are just beautiful
These candles are housed in beautiful paisley tins with a high gloss layer added to the tops of the tins.They came in a lovely pink paisley box with the tins inside, nestled in foam. These are not just 12 candles but 12 different scents, a variety or sampler. The whole set would make a nice gift for a candle lover.Individually, they would be charming additions to gift baskets.For those who keep a candle in each bathroom (JustJane raises hand) these are pretty, but small and unobtrusive. It’s an item one can use to treat oneself.I use a fair amount of essential oils. These don’t smell like essential oils to me. Some smell quite nice just not like the essential oils that are said to scent them. Perhaps that has something to do with the soy wax base.My research says soy wax (hydrogenated soy oil) candles last about twice as long as parafin candles. That is a bonus for candle lovers.

Sweet item.
Nice set of candles for relaxing in the tub! My wife finds them very relaxing, but you probably shouldn’t mix the candles, i.e. have multiple competing scents competing with each other. My wife reports that this is a little “too much.”I really like the way the candles are presented. Makes a very nice gift set.

Didn’t last long
So I got these as a gift for my wife. The sense of the candles were actually OK, the downside is they don’t last for long. On the plus side we were able to reuse the containers once we were done with the candles. You can also add tea lights into those containers if you wanted to reuse them as a candle. I like the designs of the containers. They’re very extravagant. For the price you get what you pay for. If you’re looking for something last a little bit longer, this is not the candle for you. But if you’re looking for a short burst of a nice scent and this is it.
