It’s as described. Highly recommend it. I keep in my car.

Great for travelling.
Great for travelling, or just having around to get rid of some afternoon growth. I’m using Amazon rechargeable batteries and it works just fine. I use it for cleaning up a bit during the day, but a razor is still best for a thick growth.

Good replacement for a 60’s Norelco Speedshaver
This razor checks several boxes. It is very lightweight, a good size, it runs on two AA batteries, it is quiet, and it gives a quite decent shave. It replaced a 1960’s era battery powered Norelco (Phillips) Speedshaver that I had resurrected after using it decades ago (I’m retired) that was easy and fast to use if I was in need of a quick shave. I think this shaver deserves to get 4 stars on its own merits, but a couple of things are lacking that I think made the Speedshaver somewhat better in terms of my personal preference. I liked the flip top which made it easy to open and dump the clippings (from the deeper well), with periodic thorough clean outs as needed. It ran on four batteries which lasted a long time. It was very well built. On the other hand, it was louder and didn’t deliver quite as good a shave. Bottom line, I was very happy to find this very similar functional shaver to replace it.

Light and functional
My husband likes it a lot – itâs pretty small and light (exactly whatâs needed for travels) but packs a punch!

Great shaver
My husband forgot his shaver when visiting family. I ordered this shaver and he likes it better than his regular shaver (Expensive). He says it gives a great smooth shave and uses it now all the time. Excellent purchase!!!

Size ð Razor Burn ðð
Decent size, weight if replacing razor and shaving cream. Decent shave closeness for the size. Good battery life.Personal note: I get bad razor burn where my neck meets my lower face. This razor has given me moderate burn on multiple occasions.

Compact and Effective Travel Shaver
I travel in my campervan, and wanted a shaver that operated from AA’s. The only other one that takes AA’s, to my knowledge, is the Braun MobileShave M-60. The physical design of the M-60 is superior, in my opinion, but it has the drawback that it doesn’t trim long bristles. When using the M-60, I had to use a safety razor to cut errant long hairs. This shaver, with it’s two rotating heads, does cut long bristles, as well as the short ones. Downsides are that the little cleaning brush cannot be stored in the body of the Phillips PQ206, as it can with the Braun M-60. Also, the Braun has an integral guard for the cutting foil, while the PQ206 guard can fall off and get lost. However, the ability of the PQ206 to cut long bristles, is the feature that tips the scales in favor of it. I use it at home as well as when traveling. If you’re particular about getting a close shave, like I am, you’ll find that you take more time shaving with this, than you do with a safety razor, or a regular electric shaver that is powered by AC house voltage. It doesn’t matter to me though. I can have a leisurely shave while drinking my morning coffee and browsing the internet. It doesn’t matter that it tales a little longer.I really like this little shaver. If it ever breaks down, I’m getting another one.

Corte suave e eficiente. O botão deslizante liga-desliga deveria ter duas travas, a trava de desligamento é importante quando se transporta o produto, mas falta uma trava para o acionamento, pois durante o manuseio pode acontecer o desligamento acidental do motor.

Close shaving – amazingly better with this rotary Philips, vs. a Braun foil shaver I was limping along with. It’s true that there is a technique to it – push the shaver up into the opposing hairs. The result with this Philips PQ206 is about 5x closer than I got with any foil (i.e. back-and-forth vs. rotary) shaver. Easy to clean, super compact. To me it’s a bargain.
