Excellent product
A year ago I bought a hand held waterpik-style of device which I thought was clumsy to handle and the water tank was inadequate. This real Waterpik solves those problems. It is easy to use with it’s coiled water hose and magnetic storage of the wand. Its footprint is small and rechargeable battery life is excellent. BTW, it really gets the debris out and massages your gums.

Does the Job
This Waterpik flosser is good. My only issue is that it is loud, VERY loud. I tried water flossing at my hygienist’s suggestion, I think it is a positive change for me. I had a portable flosser, but they are big and unwieldy. Over all a good solid item, and it is not too big on your counter or to put in a drawer or cabinet

Horrible Warranty Customer Service
After only 9 months, this thing will not turn on anymore. It is under warranty from Waterpik, but their customer service is absolutely a nightmare to deal with. Don’t waste your time. They are slow to respond and each email just brings up a new line of questioning. Most companies would have sent a shipping label to send the unit in for warranty by now. I have been emailing back and forth for a month now with no resolution. They are doing everything they can to not fix or replace this machine. Some excerpts from those emails are below:1. “Thank you for reaching out to the Waterpik Product Support Team. Since we know your flosser motor is not turning on, Iâd like you to try the following steps listed below.What could be happening here is the Ground Fault Interrupter (GFI) in the bathroom is interfering with the power going to the unit. In order to test this, I would like for you to take the unit into another room, such as a living room or bedroom, where there is no running water. Try plugging the unit into an outlet in one of those rooms and turn on the flosser to see if the motor turns on.If it does, then purchasing a Single Outlet Surge Protector for the bathroom outlet should resolve this issue in the future. Additionally, we also recommend deep cleaning your unit with a 50/50 solution of warm water and distilled white vinegar. Afterwards, we recommend continuing to clean with a 2:1 ratio of warm water and distilled white vinegar every 1-3 months.If the step above is unsuccessful, then please let me know so we can look into additional steps. “2. “Thank you for reaching out to the Waterpik Product Support Team. I initially wanted a corded countertop, but with no shaving point in the bathroom, I had to go for this one. And I’m really glad I did. Much smaller footprint, but the water tank is still ample for a 2 minute session.A fabulous range of tips, including special ones for gum problems, as well as braces & bridges. Only thing that would make them even better is the option of different coloured rings…or some other way of differentiating different family members’ tips. (Not a deal breaker, but a nice-to-have.)As advised, I started at the lowest setting, but I’m sure I can progress to the recommended setting quickly. Even at #1, my teeth feel cleaner, tho it’s #7 for optimal plaque removal.Way more effective (& easier!) than floss or interdental brushes. & a big plus for me is the small, slim handle – I just couldnt get on with the huge bulky handles of cordless models with built-in water tanks.Unlike lots of water flossers, you can also use antibacterial mouth wash, if you follow cleaning instructions.It’s well worth watching a You Tube video to perfect your technique, especially if you’re unfamiliar with water flossers – I loved Teeth Teacher, who demonstrates the actual Ion model as well as technique. Easy to use when you know how!Would also recommend reading the manual, especially for how to prime for first use & how to clean (v important if you have hard water.)Noise level isn’t an issue for me, but doesn’t seem excessive anyway.Not cheap, but if you want a large water capacity, a well-known brand, a slim handle & easily replaceable tips, this is unbeatable. Lo he tenido durante meses y usándolo una vez al dÃa, no lo he tenido que cargar de vuelta, entonces la baterÃa me parece excelente.Leà comentarios de que se le fuga el agua, bueno, no fue mi caso en ningún momento.Algo ruidoso en comparación con el waterpik de viaje pero vale la pena porque mi problema con ese otro era la baterÃa y lo poco que duraba, por lo que estoy encantada con este producto.Tiene varias intensidades para aventar el agua y viene con diferentes accesorios para personas con brackets, lavado de lengua, lavado de prótesis, etcétera.
