Really great safe sunscreen
This is good non toxic sunscreen. No white cast for me, but Iâm super pale so I might not be the best test case. Has a slight scent that isnât particularly great but not oily and scent fades quickly.

Very Disappointed, Does Not Absorb Well Leaving Highly Visible White Masking
One of my more disappointing purchases. Comes strongly recommended, highly rated, and seems to have a strong fan base so that I was excited to try it. Unfortunately, it absolutely does not work for me. I have medium to dry skin and this DOES NOT ABSORB AT ALL. Goes on watery and leaves my skin looking sickly and a deathly grayish white. I would work around this if it seemed to work better than other formulations but it does not last particularly well. I find I need to reapply more often than similar mineral based sunblocks. Maybe I got a bad batch? I would return it for a refund but I know most, if not all, products of this nature typically can’t be resold so they go straight to a landfill. I’ll work my way through it and go back to my favorite organic mineral sunscreen Badger: sinks in quickly and invisibly, lasts for many hours and yet is only slightly more expensive.

The YUKA app rated this Excellent 86/100, without nanoparticles. Yay! Nanoparticles can have carcerogenic & endocrine-disrupting effects. Also, the other 22 ingredients are risk free. The rating was 86 because the fragrance & zinc oxide was low risk.

If you want your skin protected, get this sunscreen.1. Its actually reef safe – lots of sunscreens claim this but still ingredients that aren’t (avobenzone and octocrylene). this one is approved by Hawaii which means it’s actually reef safe.2. This is the best sunscreen I’ve ever used in terms of protection power. I tan very easily and usually after a day in the sun I’m very dark. I’ve now been in the sun for 2 full days and my mom commented I don’t look very tanned even after swimming throughout the day (I do reapply once during the day, so if you want to tan quickly then don’t reapply).3. It appears very white but once you rub it in and it absorbs it just looks like your skin is “brightens” and no weird white streaks after you swim.4. Its very spreadable for a mineral sunscreen.5. No weird scents.6. Hasn’t given me pimples anywhere which means it doesn’t block my pores.Can’t say enough good things about it. If you are big on skin protection rather than looking excessively tanned this is for you. I know this will now be my go to for all sun destinations. Finally my search is over!

This works pretty well in terms of protecting from sun burn. I donât mind the slight bright hue it lends your face. Means you certainly might need less makeup.
