    Has all the right ingredients
Recently I had occasion to try a biotin shampoo from Maple Holistics, and I liked it so much that I wasted no time in ordering this Boost Hair Serum. Like the shampoo, this serum also contains biotin, but it has much more going on than that.Besides the biotin, this serum also contains peptides, castor oil, caffeine, argan oil and several other botanical oils and extracts. All of these ingredients are thought to help promote hair growth, strengthen the hair shafts, make it look more voluminous, and add shine. So far I have only used this serum a few times so I cannot validate most of those claims. What I can say is that my hair feels very healthy and shiny when I use this serum, and my dry scalp has been itching a lot less lately. I like that it does not have minoxidil in it, even though I know that that is scientifically proven to help hair grow, it has other side effects which I would like to avoid. This serum has a very pleasant scent, it has a peppery main note but I also detect some woody cedar and perhaps even some lavender. There is no added fragrance, so any scent in this serum is coming from the botanical ingredients.Another thing to love about this Serum is that it is all natural ingredients, there are no silicones, acrylates, PEGs or any of the other myriad harmful things often added to skin care and hair products. The absolute only thing I would change about this serum is to give it a dropper rather than a pump. In the directions it says to use 2-3 drops for treatment, but with the pump top it is impossible to dispense drops only.At time of this review, this serum is selling for $24.95. Between the great ingredients and the fact that I am already seeing healthy change in my hair, I think that price is a good value. Would definitely recommend.

It smells nice but too thick for me
I like the smell of the product. But it’s too thick for me. After applying it to my hair, it felt like I needed to comb it out in order to thin it out. The nice thing is that it didn’t make my hair greasy as other products have done so. I’ve used it several times now and I cannot say with confidence it has made a significant difference. I do appreciate that they used good ingredients and not a bunch of filler junk.

    Hair Serum
This hair serum was fairly thick—I could dispense a few drops onto my finger and it sat there instead of trying to run off. It didn’t feel sticky during application and it seemed to absorb easily into the scalp. I really like that the bottle has a pump dispenser, which is easier to use than an eyedropper when working with thicker oils/serums. The scent is unique…it seems familiar, but I haven’t been able to identify what it is that it smells like since it isn’t any of the common scents like peppermint or lavender. Either way, the scent seemed fine to me. Per the bottle, this is made in the USA from globally and domestically sourced ingredients. The expiration date was 2/2026, so a little over a year of shelf life.

Very good serum with refreshing scent
This serum is produced by Maple Holistics which has a ton of information available online. The company is US based and focuses on quality ingredients, reducing impact to the environment and formulating products with essential oils to address various health and beauty concerns.I pulled this language from their website because I think it provides a good overview of the company:’Real ingredients. Real results. We pack our products with naturally-derived ingredients to guarantee the results you need for your hair, skin or body type.’The oil has a bright fresh scent and feels very rich. On the weekends I work outside in the garden for several hours at a time and will often feel my scalp is very dry and itchy after washing my hair even with conditioner. Using this has improved how my scalp feels after massaging it in and leaving it overnight. I will also use a little bit from midway to the ends of my hair for a leave in conditioner which makes my hair softer and smoother.

Thick serum, smells nice if you like pepermint, like the texture
I like the texture and it smells like peppermint. Just a faint smell tho. I typically like argan oil scent but wanted to try something different and compare the difference. So far so good, feels the same as my argan oil. This has hair growth so I’m applying a small amount to my root area.

    Didn’t Get to Use It
Unfortunately, due to product spillage, I didn’t get to use this Rosemary Hair Thickening Serum with Peppermint which I believe would have been really wonderful. I love the peppermint smell though, and I think I will try to get this another time and give it a try.

    Smell is almost too strong.
This hair growth serum has a milky liquid like texture, the peppermint smell is so strong though that I’m not sure I’ll be able to use it often due to asthma issues and strong odors triggering it unfortunately. The smells does dissipate after a while but the initial smell, although not bad smelling at all is just really strong. The ingredients are all great though and it is vegan and cruelty free. This serum needs rinsed out 10-15 mins after applying it or left on and over night for best results. You can apply to your scalp or all over your hair for a conditioning effect it says.
