I absolutely love the Manuka Honey & Mafura Oil Intensive Hydration Hair Masque and the Jamaican Black Castor Oil Treatment Masque. Both make my hair feel great after rinsing. This one, however, made my hair feel weird and coated after rinsing. It didn’t feel as soft. I have tried this product with a deep conditioning cap and heat and as a quick, in shower conditioning treatment. I am not impressed. I currently use it as a pre-poo after using heat on my hair. I have not had any issues with heat damage. Maybe this product has contributed to that. Maybe not. But I don’t plan on repurchasing.

I dye my hair a lot and itâs curly. The best way to keep it healthy is to alternate between protein and deep moisture. A lot of protein masks leave my hair feeling a bit dry but this one doesnât and still leaves my hair feeling soft. Iâve had no issues with breakage despite my bleach addiction and I definitely attribute it to this and the moisture mask I use from the same brand. I recommend it.
