Buildable coverage
This solid powder goes on smooth over my sunscreen. I am 70, don’t have many flaws to cover, but I do like the even coverage. No glittery sprinkles, just light, smooth powder that stays put, don’t sink into creases like liquid foundation, and builds up coverage when needed. I love Laura Geller. I wish their primer had a 30 spf, that would be great. Do get the brushs, they’re wonderful! Easy to color match.

The full coverage that I didn’t know I needed
I usually prefer my trusty Balance-N-Brighten, but the morning after a throat surgery, I woke up with some spectacular bruising and discoloration on my face. I looked at the mirror, gasped, and saw it was time to order Double Take. I’m so glad I did, because even without concealer, the Double Take hid a multitude of sins despite feeling lightweight. I haven’t yet tried it with the wet sponge. I applied Double Take dry with a kabuki brush, then misted my face very very lightly with water for a slightly more natural/dewy look. The coverage is great, and I think it’s a good value given the performance of the product. I found the color match for my fair skin with pink/blue tones was excellent.

Imperfection
The color is not for me, I use a kabuki brush and it seems not blend right. Blotches. I know what I’m doing, maybe color is off. Idk.Can you use it after concealer dries?I’ve been but somethings off.I like makeup forever, pricey but worthied. Company convince me to stay, what do I need to do? The product is beautiful, wish the mirror were on the part you open, lol but when I open it, I look and it’s clear, too funny. Mirror is underneath.

Great foundation!
I used to use liquid foundation and got frustrated in that it ends up transferring to anything that happens to touch you where you are wearing it. While this foundation isn’t completely non transfer, it’s pretty darn close. It goes on very smooth (using a wide, round brush) and wears well all day (I do use a setting spray when I’m finished putting on the rest of my makeup). I highly recommend it!I use the ‘light’ color. I tried medium first and it’s too dark for me, although the darker color works well as kind of a bronzer 🙂 If you’re not sure what color to get, you might want to get a shade lighter than you think, but YMMV.

Incredible!
Applied this shortly after it arrived, and was amazed at the coverage and ease of application! I just patted it on dry with my fingertips, and just that made a very noticeable improvement in my aged, slightly mottled facial skin appearance. I will experiment with brush application and wet as well, but Iâm already very pleased!

Medium coverage
I’ve been using their other foundation powder over a concealer I like in the warmer months but was looking for a bit more coverage so tried this . I like it but haven’t tried applying with water yet for more coverage. Using brush application it evens out my skin tone, is long-lasting and doesn’t sink into lines and wrinkles – yay! I’m almost afraid to try it with water as I don’t know if doing that will mess up the product for brush application. I must say I like the product very much.
