I would purchase this product again in the future. I can’t say exactly if this exfoliant specifically lightens dark spots since I’ve been using it with the PFB roller for ingrowns/brightening skin. I really wanted to love this product. After the first shave, I was so impressed with how smooth my skin was, no cuts, and no bumps. After 2-3 days when my hair was growing back it was the most painful and bumpy experience ever. I had followed up with the balm and nothing seemed to help.Finally after a week, I was able to shave again. The same thing happened, right after was so smooth and wishing a few days, painful red bumps. I continued to use the oil, which helped temporarily, but within a few hours I would be in pain again.I tried the product for about a month hoping my body would get used to it and saw no change.Very disappointed that I bought the exfoliator, balm, & BHA/AHA. I attempted to use the BHA/AHA a few days after shaving, but it only made things worse.I guess itâs my fault for not trusting my gut when something feels too good to be true.
