Good choices are important!
This is a great childrenâs book! Delving into making good choices. I like how the author used the red yellow green light as a tool to help children stop, go slow and think, and then make a decision.Lucas has very supportive parents and he can easily talk with his father about something that happened. I like that he was able to approach a parent with a concern. His father gives him good advice, and other examples of good choices are given near the end of the book with positive outcomes.This story is nicely illustrated and easy to follow along. I like the rhyming sentences. This is one book out of many that the author has written for helping children to deal with different situations learning about being kind and accepting others, or having patience, in her childrenâs super power book series.

Can’t see print
I thought this would be perfect for kindle app. I cannot get settings to fit paged to screen. Distorted and impossible to read. Very dissapointed.

Okay But Clunky
We’ve been trying to teach my Kindergartner to stop and think before he acts, so I was really hoping this book would be a good addition to what we’ve been working on. Although it does touch on stopping and thinking, I wish the examples in the book were better (some examples are ‘should I brush my teeth?’ and ‘should I do my homework?’) I wish the book focused on more difficult decisions kids face in their days. Also I was not a fan of the rhythm and rhyming of the book. The rhythm was really clunky and it didn’t flow well. Overall, I probably wouldn’t recommend this one

The content of this book is excellent, but for the price the printing quality is poor. It’s more of a thick brochure. Such a shame. I purchased this as a gift for my grandson and think it will become damaged easily without a thicker book cover.
