Stylish and Inexpensive
I normally wear a medium in most tops, but for some jackets and coats I size up to a large. Based on the size chart provided for this sports coat, I played it safe and ordered a large. This was a good choice. My chest and shoulders fit in this coat well, allowing some movement but without being too roomy. My stomach and waist however are narrower than the sizing suggested for size large, so there is a touch more volume on the lower half of this coat than I would consider ideal. It’s not so bad I’d never wear this, and especially with the coat left unbuttoned and opened it looks fine enough. I frequently deal with this problem of having a broad chest and narrow waist. This isn’t a tailored coat, so I can’t complain. The jacket is somewhat lightweight, and I approve. It won’t grow too heavy and hot with long wear. It’s also a stylish coat. I like the colors and design of this sport coat. It’s a nice look.

Low commitment, well fitting, slim fit suit coat
My husband doesnât even own a sport coat. Iâve seen lots of styles he may like. And who doesnât need at least one? Before choosing his favorite style (and also trying to find out what that may be) and before paying a hefty price, I thought Iâd get him a slim fitting style to try. Iâm happy to have found PJ Paul Jones for this offering. This size small jacket looks great on his 5â9â, 125lb build. He definitely needs a slim, and Iâd say that this jacket falls into that category because it fits him well. While the finishing details maybe arenât as exacting as theyâd be if this were much more expensive, it looks as though it is. Case in point, the buttons on the wrist, they donât actually unbutton, but because the cuff is slotted there, it looks like they do.There are two interior pockets. And the chest pocket came with a shiny, white satin piece of fabric sticking out. I just cut that out. I didnât prefer the look of it.The fabric is thin. Thinner than even what I was expecting of a thin fabric. But it will look good enough for zoom calls or meet and greets. It is a little frustrating that even after a week of hanging, the wrinkles it was delivered with havenât budged one bit. I will need to iron them out. I was hoping for a zero effort blazer. The maintenance of the polyester fabric takes off a star. The design and sewing are great though.

Pleasantly surprised!
I have to say, I was a bit skeptical of this, but pretty surprised! I really love the color of this jacket and it actually fits quite well out of the box, although I’ve got it in with my tailor to finetune it. The fabric is not super heavy, so it’s a spring/summer/fall jacket. It’s got patch pockets, a sewn in pocket square and a colored slit in the lapel. It’s 2 button with a single vent in the back. The inside has a pocket and it’s got a fun paisley liner. The sleeves have fake button holes, which I don’t love – – – I’d prefer working ones or none, so you can hem the sleeves a bit – – – but, at this level of price, it’s fine. I used the sizing chart and found the fit to be accurate. I would say that if Costco ever sold men’s sport coats, they’d sell this one…a no-frills jacket that looks good on most people.

Feels nice. Fits right.
This was a good surprise. I don’t expect much from “off-the-rack” online suits. For $65 I also had low expectations. However, this jacket is great! It fits well, and I might not have to alter it. Typical of economy suits, it doesn’t move naturally at the shoulders. When I raise my arms the shoulders lift and bunch more than a nicely tailored suit. However, it is passable, and for everyday wear, it is a great option on a budget! The waist has a modern taper, and the length is spot on. You can style this in many different ways. The lining is elevated. I like the buttons. My gripe is that the color feels off–a little unnatural. It is still a great-looking jacket, and the color isn’t a turnoff, but it isn’t traditional navy blue. Again, it isn’t throwing off any of my outfits; it’s just a slightly different navy than I am used to.Overall, it’s a good option for elevating your everyday wardrobe on a budget. Not a bad option for under $100. If you get this jacket and have it even slightly altered, you’ll have a great piece.

Good deal if it fits, but has some unusual features
This looks good. But will take some tailoring to fit me. I was in between sizes and should have gone with the larger size. I can wear it, but I can tell it is a little bit restrictive in the shoulders and then around the torso if I button it. I’m in the normal BMI range for my height and don’t really have a gut so not over sized. The sleeves are pretty slim, which is unusual for a sport coat. Over a long sleeve shirt it is fairly tight on the forearms and I do not have massive forearms. Even in a short sleeve shirt I thought it should be looser since I can feel the liner all around my arm. Some of the not so great features that make this less flexible a sport coat are the liner is a pretty noticeable paisley pattern. Fine for casual use, and not so much for a more formal situation. considering the look, fabric, and cut are traditional, a more subdued liner would have made this usable in fairly formal situations. The white bit of fabric in the pocket is actually sewn in and not a prop. It can be flipped down to not be visible, but it looks like there’s a card in the pocket. The last weird thing is the pockets are drop in pockets sewed to the outside. I would normally expect a flap covered pocket or a slash to an interior pocket.
