BOSU is the best!
The BOSU is a fantastic piece of fitness equipment that I highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their balance, strength, and overall fitness. I have been using the BOSU for a long time at the gym. I finally made the step to purchase my own, and I must say, I am thoroughly impressed. The BOSU is incredibly versatile and can be used for a variety of exercises, including balance training, core strengthening, and cardio workouts. The unique dome-shaped design allows for a full range of motion, making it a great tool for improving flexibility and mobility. What I love about the BOSU is how easy it is to modify exercises to suit my individual fitness level and goals. Whether I am looking to increase the challenge or reduce the difficulty, I can adjust the intensity of my workout quickly and easily.Overall, I highly recommend the BOSU to anyone looking to add a new dimension to their fitness routine. It’s a fun and effective way to improve balance, strength, and overall fitness, making it a great investment for both beginners and seasoned fitness enthusiasts alike.

this should be standard in all gyms
i first saw the BOSU at the gym i work out, and i knew i wanted one for my home. i purchased this professional model for my home over the home model because i read that home model isn’t built as well. this one appears identical to the one at my NYSC gym and i am very happy about that.the ball is easy to inflate with the included foot pump. the included instructional DVD includes a lot of exercises. the base doesn’t slip at all due to a MASSIVE circular rubber foot that is made out of some super sticky kind of rubber. the ball surface itself is also very nice and not slippery at all – it feels soft, but durable. the ball and base definitely feel professional quality.doing crunches on the ball feels perfect – almost like getting tazered in the stomach or something. i also did bench press with lighter dumbbells on the ball and it felt very good as well.the ONLY downside i can think of is that when you switch from standing exercises to reclining exercises you may want to wipe the dirt off with a moist paper towel. depending on how clean your shoes are or how dirty your shirt is you may not need to do this, but i found myself doing it.another word of warning i would give is that, because of the constant balancing, it is actually a lot of stress on the ankle to be standing on the BOSU with one foot. this may be good or bad depending on what you’re looking for. if you are a young hiker or basketball player perhaps you will enjoy strengthening your ankles, but if you are an older person with problematic ankles you may hurt them. i happen to have a bad ankle so i don’t use the BOSU for standing exercises, but that’s not the fault of the ball, and i am quite happy with the other exercises i can do on it.in addition to included DVD, you can easily find tons of BOSU exercises on youtube, and i recommend you do so.finally if you’re looking to get it for a commercial gym, i saw people in my gym using it as something to sit on between sets. basically it is so versatile in a commercial gym it is guaranteed to find many uses.for home it is quite a large piece of equipment so it may not be for everybody, but i find that it is worth it for me, as you can put it just about anywhere when not in use – i just store mine upside down on whichever couch is not used. for long term storage, or transportation, it could be deflated to quite a flat shape, but i keep mine aired up and ready to use.yes i recommend it and would buy it again. it is my second most favorite piece of home exercise equipment after my PowerBlock Urethane Dumbbells.

If you have used a BOSU for years like me, a no name brand will not make you happy.
If you are like me and are debating between a Bosu balance trainer that you have used at the gym for years and aren’t going to the gym right now or a no name generic look alike balance trainer because it is cheaper and how can it be that much different, may I save you the work of a return and just really consider purchasing the Bosu Ball. They are very different. There is no comparison. The BOSU wins, hands down.My experience:I have used the BOSU pro balance trainer for a couple years at the gym. My main thing is building balance. Since I am not going to the gym right now, I wanted a balance ball trainer for home. I looked at the price of The Bosu ball and then the price of the no names. Some of the no names are over 1/2 of the price less than the Bosu. Many of them have great reviews. I chose one that around $85. It had great reviews. I received it. Set it up. Tried it out. I said a bad word because right out of the box freshly pumped with air, I could tell the difference just standing on it with my two feet. My feet were curving out with the curve of the ball. I tried letting air out. I tried refilling it. I measured it from the ground up to make sure I was filling correctly. It didn’t matter, there was this new found pressure on the ankles, feet and low calves/shins.Standing on the BOSU trainer feels extremely different than the no name one. On the Bosu trainer, my feet don’t curve out. When I stand on it, I feel with the BOSU I am able to correct my posture whereas the other one I was fighting to keep my ankles from turning out.The feel of the material is very different on the BOSU trainer vs. the no name. The no name felt very stiff under my feet. The no name felt like it had to be broken in before it could be effective. Kind of like a new pairs of shoes. The BOSU the material is strong and flexible. Feels good on the feet.Picking up the BOSU is easy. It is made to be easily picked up off the floor. The no name one was a struggle to move because you had to find the little metal piece that was about a finger length wide to pick up.The surface size makes a difference. The BOSU pro is over an 1 inch bigger in diameter. I didn’t think this would make difference until I tried doing exercises on the no name brand. I couldn’t find my grip and there just didn’t seem to be enough surface area. All in all, when I received my BOSU trainer today, I took it out of the box. Filled it within minutes. (the no name took me forever. I thought there was a hole or it was broken.) Stood on it. The let out a big sigh of relief and satisfaction. Having used a BOSU ball for the last couple years, I now understand that there is not another balance trainer that would equate to it.

Fantastic, Epic, Next Level Exercise Tool
I was at a hotel and found a Bosu Ball at the hotel’s fitness center and started using it. Once you start you will get hooked! It adds complexity and rigor to any workout so that you can compound the benefits. This is a powerful and transformative tool that will enhance many, many movements. Lots of great videos online to give you workout ideas with it. Just incredibly versatile and a brilliant invention! I am hooked and can’t stop using it. It’s actually made me a better athlete overall and I am someone who does Crossfit 4-5 a week. It’s improved my body composition and has given me a better sense of body confidence and athletic ability. Bosu Ball is a gamechanger!
