Great Affordable Setting Powder
I haven’t used a huge number of different setting powders but this one works really well for me! I’m really fair skinned and used to use the $6 Translucent powder with the orange lid (can’t say the brand name) that so many people use. That brand didn’t work as well as this one does! I use the elf setting powder with the elf halo glow powder puff and the results are really great in my opinion! It doesn’t settle in my smile lines as much and it matches my skin tone great. I find that it also applies more evenly with the powder puff! I also included a photo of the setting powder before you’d “pat it in” just to give an idea of the shade. My fave is a bit lighter than my arm to give you an idea. E.l.f. cosmetics is the masters of affordable makeup!

Great dupe
Great dupe for the Huda loose powder! It’s perfect for setting your concealer and the pink shade works for color correcting undereye circles as well. When used with concealer, it makes you look like you have the retouch filter on in real life. Will definitely be repurchasing!

I don’t hate this powder, but I guess I’m more of a matte powder person. If you prefer a glow to your powder vs. a matte or powdery look then this is worth trying. As someone with an oily t zone I don’t really love it to be slightly shiny before I’m actually shiny from oil. It sets makeup ok but I still get some creasing.

Big difference to nightlong makeup!
This setting powder makes a HUGE difference in the makeup quality! I bought it assuming it would extend the life of the product overnight, but it also make my face color tone looks consistent and made my pores unnoticeable. I included a before and after comparison, since this was such a cheap option for a high glam look!

Pretty finish, darkens makeup
*sigh*. This powder IS beautiful, it’s lightweight, doesn’t emphasize texture, blurs my pores way better than the fit me loose powder and Huda beauty, doesnt dry me out, and is good for my dry skin. However, it darkens my makeup underneath. I HATE powders that do that. I’ve tried the pink (which is actually a dark orange) and the light shade (which looks a little yellow). Both darken my foundation significantly by several shades. I’m so disappointed. I wish they would just come out with a true white translucent shade.

I have used other products previously but now there’s no going back. My face looks perfect after applying this powder on top of the basic foundation. And the best part is that it stays like that for a long time. I was surprised to see my face without oil in the afternoon after just one application in the morning. Worth the money.
