I was surprised at first when they arrived all completely squished with all the air removed, But it made sense Once I read the directions. Once you open the package and immerse the products in some water, they puff right up again. And they work very well.

I did not like anything about this product. I had a hard time putting them in my hair. They were flat and did not keep their shape.

Smell
The rollers arrived safely and their airtight packaging the instructions to place them in water so that they can get back to the regular shape or followed. The only problem is the sponge smells like moth balls, or something Pungent so what I had to do was sanitize with Lysol and soak before rinsing and drying. Still smelly but Continuing to air out.
