Just what I was looking for!
Very nice poles! I was surprised that they are as nice as they are for the excellent price. I like them better than my previous telescoping poles, as they are much more compact to carry and you can easily set and re-set the length you desire for your current terrain and use.The poles are very easy and quick to deploy, however pushing the button in to retract them again is not quite as easy, especially if your hands are a bit cold. The rest of the retraction process is super easy. And, once folded up, they come with a nice velcro cord strip that keeps them tight and tidy.I really like that the poles come in two separate storage bags, as you may want to carry only one pole on some outings, not two and the bags give you the option to have your pole in a bag on the inside or outside of your pack, which keeps things more organized and neat.I put the various pole tips (very nice tips that came with the poles) in a separate mesh bag (sort of see-through) that I attached directly to the two-bag system because I could see that pulling out the poles could inadvertently pull out a tip at the same time and you may not notice, especially if it fell down into snow. Therefore, having the tips in a separate small bag made a lot of sense to me. It would also enable me to take quick inventory of my tips to make sure everything was in place when changing them out. I have worked on search and rescue for 19 years now, and over the years, I have become very aware of how to manage and put systems in place so gear is not ever lost. I want to spend my time and dollars upgrading gear, not replacing it.I cannot attest to how rugged these tips are as I have not yet put them through the test of time and use, however they feel quite substantial and durable, not soft or easily dented. The grips are very comfortable and the wrist straps are easily adjusted. I like the material the wrist straps a made from as well. I have not taken these poles through the heat of summer yet, so I cannot speak to the grip in hot weather, but they are super comfortable in winter, as the material does not get super cold and has just the right degree of soft to prevent fatigue and firmness to give stability of use.I guess the only thing about these poles is the branding. They have not one, but two logos on the poles. I would prefer less labeling and more solid blue color, which would make the poles more pleasing to the eye. While aesthetics are not important to the function, as an artist, I guess I cannot help myself.

Sturdy, compact, easy to use, handles heavy woman.
Exactly as described. Easy to use & adjust after reading instructions once. Worked well on steep rugged inclines in rock, sand, gravel. Handles and wristlet were comfortable on 3 hour hike in Colorado. Nice and compact once folded. Fit in my small 18L camelback. They didn’t bow with my 200Lb+ body leaning on them. Buying more as gifts.

Pretty good
According to Amazon, I’ve had this for a year and a half now. It’s still working for me. Im not a crazy hiker. I hike typically well maintained trails and mostly with good weather. Under those conditions, it works well. It’s super compact and can fit in my small hiking backpack. It’s easy to use in terms of setting up, breaking down, and adjusting the strap. It’s never broken on me while on trail. It seems other people have issues with it’s durability when it gets stuck but that hasn’t happened to me yet. It’s probably not as good as the expensive poles but it works really well for my needs at a good price.

Folding style so handy to keep in car
Great aid for this older person who still enjoys a moderate hiking trail, but needs a little insurance to prevent falls. It is helpful to watch the manufacturer’s assembly video before 1st time use, and practice a few times. When you learn the proper order, assembly is quick and easy. The height adjustment has markings. The manufacturer’s video also shows you how to adjust the height. Once you know your setting you can easily slide to correct height and snap the clip to secure. When not in use, pole folds in thirds and slips into included mesh storage bag. They are so thin and light, yet really feel sturdy. Handle has comfortable neoprene type covering, with comfortable grip and wrist strap. I usually use one while walking the dog on woodland trails. The pole is especially great in areas of loose rock, and has kept me on my feet thru areas of trip hazards like partially exposed roots and rocks. I love how they fold up and can stash out of sight in my car like my umbrella. 3 different pole “feet” for different terrains are included. Colors are vibrant.

Great for Travel
Bought these to take on a trip to the Galapagos. Since we were trying to minimize our luggage we bought these foldable poles. So glad we did! They were perfect for fitting in to our backpack while on treks on shore on the islands. They were sturdy and easy to put together and take apart. Bought the larger length for my husband who is 6’2″ and the smaller ones for me since I am 5’5″. Perfect sizes for us both. Highly recommend. Came with 3 different tips for the ends.

The poles were great but TSA at one airport would not allow them in our carry on luggage/backpack.
The hiking poles were perfect for hiking in the mountains. They were lightweight but sturdy and collapsed easily to fit into our backpacks. We were able to carry them on the airplane from our original airport without any problems. However, the TSA pre check agent in Jackson, Wyoming, refused to let us carry them on in a backpack or carry on luggage. We would have had to check a suitcase for the poles to be in it which would have been an additional cost. Instead we allowed the agent to confiscate the poles to our chagrin. So be aware there are certain TSA agents that allow them to be carried on without any hassle instead of checking them, but others will not allow this to happen.
