Quality curling iron
This is a fantastic curling iron. Love the digital temperature as I have damaged hair and am always careful to use hot tools at a lower temp- 300 degrees. Curls are quick, smooth and last for days. It feels well made and produces soft curls. Love

Why did I wait so long to upgrade?!
I’ve been stubborn about buying a new curling iron and OMG I really regret waiting so long! This iron grabs hair so smoothly and never leaves a frayed end. I can only describe it as smooth.. it’s so nice. I’m not even sure how it does it, but it’s so smooth when it grabs hairs and it curls beautifully. It heats up super fast and comes with a travel holder and cord keeper. I wish I would have bought this 5 years ago.

Way better than my $200 curling iron..
I have a CHI straightener which i like better than the bioionic one, so i bought the curling iron to try, and it far surpasses my other expensive professional curling iron. I don’t feel like my hair is burning and I’m not accidentally hitting the buttons when using. The clamp actually clamps and holds my fine hair which the other iron did not. This is a solid brand with solid products. Now i know expensive isn’t always better!

Adjustable temp curl/waves
Like: for me the tip is adequate to hold or rest my fingers on. Temp is adjustable. Warms up fast. Doesnât feel like itâs damaging my hair. Curls. Gives your hair volume. Curling iron looks professional. Comes with holder. Pretty much what I expected.Dislike: curls didnât stay really well. I have shoulder length hair. They ended up more like beach waves. BUT I didnât use a bunch of hairspray so that could be why. I also maybe needed to use a higher heat which can impact how well curls stay. I only used a heat protectant with no hold. So really may have been my fault.

For years I always purchased curling irons that were priced lower. This time I decided to spend the extra. So worth it! I donât know why I didnât buy this before. My hair doesnât get snagged, there are no weird crimps in my hair, and it heats nicely. The Best!

I had several curling iron and flat irons, I gave them all away because the temperature too hight. CHI is really the best because the temperature control feature so It won’t damage my hair. For some reason my hair will get burnt at higher temperature such as lots of products suggested 350 f and above. I only use 290 for my hair. The result is wonderful. The iron can go this low setting. Others can’t go this low.This is also light weight compared to my previous CHI. Highly recommended!

Curls great but leaves a smell on hair.
I had been looking for a better quality ceramic curling iron for quite some time and settled on this Chi due to price point and good reviews. Although it is a quality hair tool, and I love the longer barrel, my hair was left smelling weird after each use. Initially I thought it would fade over time but the smell continued for several weeks. I tried using the lowest heat setting and I even tried lightly washing the barrel with a damp cloth but nothing seems to be working. I’ve used other hair tools intermittently (my Remington straightener, and Hot Tools iron) with no problems… so I know it’s not my hair that stinks or the products I’m using…. it’s the Chi. I’m disappointed I have to start looking for another curling iron again.

I love this. I waited over a year to review this and this is still as impressive as it was when I got it, truly a great purchase. It heats up in seconds and is easy to adjust to just the right temp. I have fine straight hair and this is perfect to add lift and body to my crown. It’s got just the right amount of grip. The only minor thing I’d change is the cord length. I do my hair in a small half bath and find the cord quite long for the space I have to work in. Perhaps others find it just right? If I ever needed to replace it I’d purchase the same one in a heartbeat. Great quality, great design, and a tool that truly works as intended.

It’s got great clamp grip – no slip. Heats up fast and hot. But I find that it is too heavy to handle. It is longer in length than I anticipated. It doesnt fit into my drawers nor cabinet heights in the bathroom. Therefore, design is a rated 3.
