Really enhances!
Iâve always stuck to only one mascara for the past few years because I felt like it worked the best for me, but after not being able to find the same brand on Amazon I decided to take a risk and try something else. I looked up reviews for this mascara and thought it wouldnât be as good as they were saying, but I swear the picture does not do it justice. In person my lashes look so thick and long itâs crazy!!!!! Iâm absolutely stuck staring in the mirror right now from how they look. You only need two good layers and itâs so beautifulð. I definitely will be getting this one from now on, totally worth it.

Best of the dozens I have tried in the last couple of years
My lashes have always been a challenge as they are blonde but at 53, they are also thinning. I have bought and tried about 2 dozen different brands promising to lengthen, make them look fuller, etc. Leave it to elf to get it right at a fraction of the price of others AND cruelty free. This stuff goes on easy and never clumps, even when adding a second coat. It doesnât flake like other tube mascaras.This one is a keeper!

Decent brown tubing mascara at a low price
The major selling point for me is that this is an economically priced true brown tubing mascara that performs acceptably. For sanitary reasons I prefer to only use a tube for three months after itâs been opened, which isnât practical when the majority of brown tubing mascaras ones run around $20-30. At $7 a pop, I donât mind throwing away a half-full tube. Itâs on the subtler side in terms of volume and length, but thatâs the pointâI donât like dramatic black lashes as an everyday look.

NO MORE RACCOON EYE TRIPLE CLEANSING
I already have dark under eyes, so I donât need staining from my mascara. Non-waterproof mascara runs and stains. Waterproof mascara is impossible to get off without oil cleansing, cleansing, then micellar water, too. This tubing ELF mascara has stayed put through light tears (Iâm a crier during movies) and allergies, even rubbing my eye by accident. To remove, I just gently rub some warm water on my lashes in the shower a couple times and itâs gone! No staining, no scrubbing, no special products. I will never use anything else. Plus it comes in brown! Hell yes. Iâm not a high contrast makeup girlie, the brown is lengthening, thickening, natural, beautiful. The wand is perfect too! I hate long bristles that mark up my eyelid when applying. This mascara is literally perfection. Thanks, ELF!

not that great
After reading the reviews, I wanted to love this. It lengthens, probably as well as clinique high impact, but it lacks the thickening aspect of that mascara. Also, I can feel it on my eyes a lot more than the clinique alternative. I’m very sensitive, which is why I tend to go for clinique, which is hypoallergenic, but the price and the reviews caused me to by this. I will not do so again.

Go to mascara
This is my favorite mascara! I have never had any issues with it flaking. Removing it is so easy too! Makeup remover will take it right off in a swipe or two. Other mascaras are so hard to remove and I end up irritating my eyes and face before I get it all off or give up. Half the time I donât even use makeup remover when I use this mascara. I just wet my eyes and lightly pull on my lashes and it comes right off in a clump. It wonât smear on your hands after either. The brush bristles are nice and stiff too so it works great at separating and coating all of your lashes. This mascara is definitely not water proof though. If you cry, be careful wiping your eyes lol. It wonât smudge but it will come off.

I am happy with this, it delivers! Easy to apply formula is a little on the thicker side, with a slender, plastic-spiky type brush. It goes on smoothly, no lumps and gives you time to build it up a bit without getting too thick and clumpy. Gives good length and thickness to the lashes. It did NOT smudge or smear at all after a full day of work wearing eye cream and concealer. Most mascaras smudge at some point by the end of the day. I noticed very minimal flakes at the end of the day, certainly not a deal breaker. It does come off easily with water. The only down side is that, ironically, it would not come off with micellar water or oil cleansers. So, you are forced to use water at some point to remove it. Overall, this is a great mascara and a great price!

great for lengthening
This is the first tubing mascara I’ve tried. It does a good job of lengthening lashes. I have asymmetrical eyelashes – long but skimpy on one eye, short and stubby but full on the other. I usually use a volumizing formula on one and a lengthening on the other. I’ve finally found the near perfect combo of mascaras for a symmetrical look. This ELF one costs 5x times less than the other volumizing one I currently have in the rotation, so that’s a win. Con: I don’t really find this that much easier to remove than traditional mascara though

I usually use waterproof mascara so that it won’t flake or smudge throughout the day, but this tubing mascara holds firm all day long! It hasn’t budged since I started wearing it daily this past week, in all sorts of weather conditions. And it comes off soooo easily with my regular makeup removing solution and a face cloth! The lash effect is okay, separates and lengthens a bit, but mostly I like that it holds and doesn’t pull out my lashes to remove 🙂

This is a tubing mascara. I hadnât heard of these until I did some internet research. Apparently the mascara wraps itself around the individual lashes and they are usually more expensive than this one (which was recommended by several people).I first tried it over the mascara I was already wearing, just because I wanted to try it when it arrived. This made a difference but I also tried it again the next morning, when applying my makeup from scratch.The wand is narrow which gives you the ability to make fine touches, and to manipulate it without missing the lashes (and getting some of your face!). It applies evenly and there was no clumping. I have been using a well know brand for years now, but had noticed some clumping so wanted to try something else (hence the research).The research also advised I apply mascara in general with a zigzag motion, as the brush goes along the length of the lashes, to increase the effect. I didnât know this and so have been doing this too.It is a good, deep black colour. The length definitely increases on application. No clumping. I can recommend and imagine this will be my new regular mascara.
