Another great Blevins book!
I am a huge fan of Blevins in all things phonics. I also own his “Differentiating Phonics Instruction for Maximum Impact” book and needed a companion for older kids. This was perfect for that! I teach college students who will be teachers and needed very practical tips for them entering classrooms right now. These books are full of practical tips that can be implemented the next day.

Content is the same as editions 1 & 2
There are some great updates in the beginning of the book, but the remaining part/majority of the book is the same content as in the first 2 editions, which I already have. I was looking for some lesson plan templates for whole group instruction, or the word study to be broken up into appropriate grade levels so teachers could follow a scope & sequence – but it doesn’t contain either one of those.
