It’s a very firm foam roller and also has a very smooth surface. It was reasonably priced. I really liked the red/black color pattern. It has the feel and weight of styrofoam. I’m not saying that’s necessarily a bad thing but it may not hold up to abuse. I’ve found I use it the most underneath my desk as a foot rest and only occasionally use it to roll my back on.When it comes down to it this is a great roller that meets my needs so I definitely recommend.
