Lots of info, not many visuals
I would say that this is half guide book and half cookbook. The beginning third or so really centers on learning about the keto diet and ketosis. There are many easy guides/lists to follow as a quick reference. The rest of the book contains all recipes from every meal plus snacks and desserts. The recipes are written very clearly and contain serving size, cooking time, and nutrient info.There were no pictures or charts and I feel like this book could have benefitted from those visuals aids. Like I said there are quick reference lists (ex. eat these proteins) but you really have to search because nothing pops out. But very informational and a great guide. I voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.

Good into to Keto
About a third of this book explains the eating plan and the other two thirds are receipes in all the normal categories from Breakfast to Dessert. It detailed Keto without adding fluff. The recipes looked good without too many ingredients. My only complaint would be that there were no pictures of the cooked receipes.

The recipes were ok but most required an instapot. It would have been great if they were universal for the stove top.

If you donât have an insta pot then it is a waste of your timeâ¦..
They need to rename this book so it reflects that for the recipes given, you have to have an insta pot for completion of the recipes. Otherwise it might be a good idea (hint hint) to put in other instructions for oven/crock pot/stovetop baking instructions. I do not appreciate the lack of disclosure about a main component you will need for completing any of these recipes, especially coming from a recipe book!It has good basic information on keto ideas/information but lacks any in depth material, hence the two stars, It just seemed to me that this was a quick book thrown together to give as a starter base for those on the keto diet, that was geared especially for insta pot users. I was sent a free book and am voluntarily leaving this honest review.

I was given this book as an advanced copy and I’ve been wanting to try the Keto diet but have always been very overwhelmed with all the ins and outs. This book was very helpful in giving all the information and explanation on why it’s important. It clarified misconceptions and simplified concepts that had me concerned or confused.I think this is a great starter book for anyone who is interested in starting Keto or learning more in-depth about the program

Some great advice and some great recipes for KETO.
âI voluntarily reviewed this after receiving a free copy.â I really enjoyed most of the recipes in this book, there was also some great advice for starting and continuing on with KETO. I can go back and re-read for some new ideas on recipes and updating some of my own recipes….

Lots of information
I volunteered to review this book. It began with a lot of useful information regarding Keto. I kind of got lost. The recipes were ok. I feel you would have to be committed to this lifestyle. There are ingredients in the recipes that I normally would not use but they donât seem like they would be difficult to make.
