Comprehensive, Refreshing, Endeavoring, Accurate Yet Open-minded
Bar none the most comprehensive book on training I’ve yet read. It wraps up all the topics discussed on his YouTube channel The Bioneer with excellent organization, an entertaining and casual tone, and a refreshing jolt of optimism towards the human species as a whole. I heartily recommend it. Compared to his previous work Superfunctional Training (which I also loved) the fit and finish is better, the typos and run-on sentences have been fixed and the content expanded and reorganized. I really appreciate the eye towards scientific accuracy while also being open-minded and forward-looking to new frontiers; Sinecki is quick to point out when he’s venturing into scientific gray areas where evidence remains sparse, yet his a priori logic towards these topics is consistently sound. If you’re serious about improving your innate capabilities as a Homo sapiens sapiens, this is a must-read. It may not be an extremely technical tome on a specific subject like Supertraining or a nutrition or neuroscience textbook, but it is an approachable, well-written, well laid out, and extremely comprehensive practical manual and source of great inspiration.

    Interesting info…
I enjoyed the book as I’m a fan of the YouTube channel. Adam presents a lot of really interesting information and challenges standard beliefs about fitness. Like I said, I enjoyed it, but I was a little disappointed that an actual template or example training plan or split wasn’t reviewed.Fair play, his premise is how individual training is, and I believe he does have training routine examples on his website. I just thought it would be a nice addition.Again, I enjoyed and recommend the book, but it’s a small critique.

The only training book you’ll ever really need.
Adam Sinicki AKA The Bioneer has written for us the end all be all book on training the human body. He uses his terrific wit and a humorous tone throughout to express scientific facts that might otherwise go in one ear and out the other. I found the content of this book to be very well researched and the writing to be both engaging and accessible from a layman’s point of view. Adam cites his sources as he goes with reference numbers anyone can look up for further reading. In this book Adam is not pushing the reader to train in any particular way. Instead, Adam encourages his readers to essentially try a bit of everything and he offers ways anyone can train to get better at everything to become what he calls “super functional”. A+ book 5/5 stars all around!

This book looks at the important aspects of health; living longer, feeling better, thinking better, getting stronger, moving better, and looking better.

I already followed The Bioneer on YouTube, and I loved his content. And you’ll be happy to know that his book delivers on all fronts too. It goes over so many truly functional and sometimes obscure training methods and he also touches on cognitive performance, which is one of his staples. His whole thing is making his body and mind Superfunctional, and advice is absolute gold in a fitness industry that tells you the same thing over and over.Get the book! You won’t be disappointed, and you’re supporting someone that loves what he does and gives so much amazing free content already.

So much information has been put into this book. Adam really knows his stuff and you can tell that he is passionate about it too. I really think this should be read by anyone who is at any stage on the fitness spectrum. There is something for everyone.I also recommend that people go to thebioneer.com and read Adam’s blogs and if you can buy his Superfunctional training program. The program goes together really nicely with this book and offers some great stuff. It has been life changing for me, not only in fitness, but in my approach to work and life in general.
