Useful kit to have around just in case
Comes with useful bleed controlling measures to have on hand for various injuries. I use firearms often and this is a good kit to have on hand in case any accidents happen. Controlling bleeding is a vital part in prolonging life and I would highly recommend taking some classes on bleeding control, especially if you have hobbies such as firearms or other dangerous sports. Tourniquets are game changing life preservers when utilized properly and the included vented chest seals are really great to have for chest punctures. Hemostatic dressings and gloves are useful for all types of bleeding scenarios. This is a useful kit at a fair price. Hope this helps and you never need to use it!

Solid bleeding control kit. Hope to never need it
I ordered this just in case we ever experience a traumatic event at home or on the go and need to address a wound. I truly hope we never need to use it, but I’d rather be prepared for the worst. The kit contains most things you would expect, but I was surprised to see that shears/scissors are not included and are one of the most important instruments to include. I definitely would suggest supplementing this kit with your own dedicated shears as every second counts when you’re trying to stop the bleeding.Pro-tip: make yourself familiar now with the kit’s contents and proper applications now should you ever need it. And keep it somewhere easily accessible!

    Prepper essential
I’m seriously not going to cut my self open to test this product out but it appears to be a great first aid kit to control bleeding. I’m not a prepper but strive to be prepared for emergencies some day. Expiration date on individual items show that it will expire in 07/2027.

Overpriced Gunshot Wound Kit; No Scissors :/
Similar and more comprehensive kits are available on Amazon [with pouch] for considerably less money. And although the pics show a pair of trauma shears, none are included. The items that you do get with this are quality, but I’d definitely recommend anyone who’ll use this familiarizing themselves with things ahead of time. (The tourniquet is particularly overbuilt, and fiddly in use.)The assortment is limited to addressing major wounds: massive blood loss, extremety trauma, sucking chest wounds, etc. Anyone with a firearm should probably have something along these lines. But this a supplemental kit, and others med kits are either more affordable, more useful, or both. Showing accessories that aren’t actually included is pretty inexcusable. Wouldn’t recommend this at all.

    A good add-on to your first-aid kit
So, first things first — read the list of included components — do NOT go by the pictures. The pictures include an israeli pressure bandage and scissors, which are not part of this kit. (The instructions even talk about using an israeli pressure bandage, but it’s not included in this kit. If you are using this kit to supplement an existing kit, I’d recommend adding both.)That said, it’s a perfectly good kit; not so much a medical/first-aid kit, itself (in fact, it’s not really a kit — it’s a sealed & resealable plastic bag with stuff in it), but rather a nice collection of items to add to a basic kit to expand it’s ability to handle more severe issues. I won’t go into the details (because, unlike most parts of first-aid kits, you really want to understand how to use these items before you look at using them), but they are a good choice for situations where you may see significantly greater injuries, specifically those involving blood loss. These aren’t so much ‘treat it and let them go’ items, as they are ‘stabilize the person while you wait for the professionals to arrive’, or ‘Try not to die while I get somewhere, where I can get help’ items. It also includes a lot number and expiration dates; most of the products should be replaced, periodically, to ensure you get the expected results when using them. The package I received is good until 2027.If this had the referenced pressure bandage and a set of scissors, it would be an easy five stars, but it’s a solid 4/4.5, as is.

    Excellent Bleed Control Kit
This is an excellent and well put together bleed control kit. This isn’t meant to be a standalone first aid kit, rather an important addition to a first aid kit or a paramedic emergency kit. It arrives with a tourniquet, Israeli bandage, trauma shears, adhesive tape, hemostatic dressing, trauma pad and vented chest seals. As a seasoned pepper, I’m normally very particular about pre-made kits and prefer to make my own emergency kits. I’m actually impressed by the quality of the materials used in this kit. These aren’t just a few cheap pieces thrown together; they’re actually good quality medical supplies. They arrive with expiration dates as well. The kit’s supplies will expire in 2027. These are great to have in your house or car, as well as for camping trips. This kit is a must have for everyone. Overall this is one of the better options for bleed control kits available. I highly recommend this one!
