Cheaper than Barb and works just as well
Have short thin hair and this gives my hair the body it needs to hold my style all day. Not sticky or flaky

    Have been buying for years.
I have been buying this for years for my hair. It works great and the container lasts a long time. A little goes a long way! I put it on my hair and then run a comb through it. It dries clear very quickly.

    Consistent results
I have been using this product for over 5 years now and have used many other gels, creams, putties. I prefer this one as it does not leave your hair shining NOR overly sticky with its application. I will say that the longer your hair is…the more product you need to apply. It also does not perform great if your hair is too short, meaning a happy medium should be attained for this to work its best. It’s best used in moist hair but not WET or totally dry hair.Pros: great cost, not super sticky, dries fast, is not very shiny, has a tolerable/pleasant smell to it (not like some others)Cons: hard to find this product sometimes

    Half full
Product works great, no strong scent, lightweight. Very matte and not sticky. Reworkable light to medium hold. Only real complaint is my jar is just over half full as shown in the Pic. I would recommend for pixie cuts.

Keeps the style in place w/out looking like a shell head.
I have curly, wirery hair, and even though I keep cut relatively short to keep it manageable, it still need help when to keep styled how I want it. It doesn’t take a lot to use, I find it works best with hair slightly wet/damp, work it, style how you want, then leave it. It doesn’t look or feel like I have product in my hair, and if it gets messed up, re-wetting it allows it be re-styled pretty easily.I been previously using the Sexy Hair Style, Hard Up, which I like too, but got tired of hard/crispy gel effect, though I like that product a lot, it is a bit “sticky” and while may seem random, I visit rural areas with livestock and bugs/flies seem to LOVE IT. Yes that is gross.

    It’s ok
I was a long time user of gels, pomade, and I’ve been trying to use these non-oil non-gel alternatives since growing my hair out. For the longest time, I was using American Crew ‘forming creme’, which I still think is the best. Their prices are the worst though. I can blow $ on a steak, a trip, or whatever but I grew up buying super cheap hair gel so $17 for a Copenhagen sized container for hair product seems excessive. They only (or mainly) sell these at Target so while out of town I decided to buy a non-shine version of Axe product (non-shine) and thought it was good. I started shopping around for a cheaper alternative that wasn’t associated with the Axe brand, especially since the type I bought isn’t available on amazon (yellow/black container) and tried this brand. L’Oreal is older than me, and European, so I expected the best. So far, I’m not impressed. I’m using the recommended amount but maybe my hair is too long now. It seems fine when I put double the dose. I’ll update this once I’m done with the can if I change my opinion. I personally don’t like changing brands/types for this reason, they’re all different and need getting used to.

    My Only Hair Sculpting Product
Thankfully, I found this product years ago. I’ve tried others, and I mean that I really have tried! Only this one that’s readily available and reasonably priced works to support my hair styling needs.Once I have washed my hair, I add in some gel before drying. That helps start the styling process. Once my hair is mostly dry, I scoop a small amount onto two fingers, add a bit of water, then lift and scrunch to achieve a finished look. Works like a charm to tame my hair and give it the oomph I like.It can be refreshed with a bit of water on my fingertips to reenergize my style. Without this product my hair is too flat, and I don’t care for that effect at all. You can start with a small amount, then add a little more if you want more lift, or a more defined look. Washes out easily when that time comes.

The MRP on the product says 1000/- whereas it’s been sold for 1399/- on Amazon. I tried local stores and got a second piece for 950/- only.

Had many problems in the past with trying to find a good hair product. Wax is far too difficult to apply and then remove from your hands, gel is not strong enough and looks too shiny. This is the perfect inbetween in my opinion. Very easy to apply, makes a strong hold, and looks like you’ve got nothing in your hair at all. I’ve also noticed when I wake up the next day after wearing it, my hair is still sort of in place (not completely, but enoough that my bangs stay up). So if that’s a positive for you as well this is for you.

My son who lives in the USA left this once after a visit. I used it – great for my short, choppy hair style. Nothing I tried in the ladies hair products suited me as well as this, so I ordered one for myself! (I might let him use it on his next visit!!). Washes out easily.
