I have straight, thin hair and have trouble with heat products being too hot and damaging my hair. Iâm able to set the temperature on this very low and it does a great job smoothing any frizz and fly aways. It even works for curling my hair and the curl lasts all day. It heats up quickly and is very easy to use. Itâs not heavy or heavier on one end. It works better than my Chi flat iron and I can do my entire head in less than 10 minutes. Definitely worth it.

Unlike a flat iron where you can put a large piece between the plates, this has more a segmented plastic over the plate that separates the hair and straightens wonderfully. Problem is you have to do small pieces and it takes a lot longer but great with great results.It heats up fast!!

Easy to use….creates smooth hair!
I have thick wavy hair and am not good at blow drying my hair with a round brush. But this creates that same type of look and is easy to use. You do need to do small sections at a time, but overall it creates a frizz-free look. My hair seems to have more volume using this, than when I use a flat iron to straighten. Also, I had no little “frizz pieces” like I would sometimes get with a flat iron. It was also very easy to do the back of my hair, a lot easier than with a regular straightener. I wanted to get the straighter that I have seen all over social media, but found this instead for half the price and it works great. Not sure if that other one holds more hair at a time or not? But either way, this one worked out perfect for what I needed. (This was for me, but Amazon account is under hubby’s name).

Stopped working after less than 2 months
Can seem to get a hold of the company that sold this item. I need to return it or get a replacement item. This item stopped working after less than 2 months of owning it. I plugged it in and heard a pop sound. Since then it hasn’t worked at all. I need to find a way to return item.
