Barrel isn’t that much longer
Barrel isn’t that long, I expecting sort of like the Bio Ionic one which I have but this one isn’t that big. But it’s easy to use and heats up quickly. I have thick wavy hair and curls don’t hold on me, because my hair weighs them down too much. I would it on prime day because tbh I would not have bought it at full price.

It heats up so fast too and it stays extremely hot.I LOVE it! I have now purchased both the 1 inch barrel and the 2 inch barrel from this company.They are a pricey. Howeverâ¦they are made extremely well. And thatâs valuable to me.I need my curling irons to do a good job. And both of these do just that.They work perfect!!!

Keeps the curl longer!
My stylist uses this brand and my hair keeps a curl all week. My curls are out in 1 day with my old iron so I bought one and love it…highly recommend!! I bought the extended longer barrel because I have long hair so instead of waiting for the last part of the hair wrapped over hair to get heated…I’m able to wrap it all directly on the barrel taking less time to heat.

Spring gets stuck – too late to return to Amazon so dealing with the company Helen of Troy
Like other reviews said the spring gets stuck. I have other Hot Tools products and never had this happen before.I called for the warranty after a ton of documentation they said they will evaluate and send me a return sticker to exchange. This can takes months….I wish I could return it to Amazon and be done with it since so many others are complaining. The quality of this product really declined. The color of the iron isn’t even the deep gold that the other two I have are.Hopefully will get a replacement in a few months that will work….but ideally would just buy something else.

My hair dresser uses a variation of this curling iron, so I purchased it to get similar results at home. It heats quickly and does a great job but I have burned my hand numerous times. I can’t use this product for the back of my head because I can’t see where I am applying it, which results in the burns on the hand that holds the hair. Even the second setting is very hot.

I love the length of this roller. Other reviews mentioned the on off switch is in a perfect place. I love this feature. My other styling products burn my hands and in often advices accidentally turn it in and off… it accidentally adjust the heat.The iron heats up fast and the curl holds well. Would buy again!
