Smooth and Sheer
This is my favorite makeup. It blends into skin easily and never looks heavy or cakes. It covers minor imperfections and does a wonderful job of smoothing and evening out skin tone. I have very light skin so the ivory color works well for me.

Iâve used CG products for years, including Simply Powder Foundation in Ivory. I wanted to try out the AquaSmooth in Ivory since Iâm aging, and powder foundations look too dry sometimes.Itâs a surprisingly great cream makeup for the price! True to its âaquaâ name, it feels a bit wet/cool when first applied, but quickly dries to very light and natural finish. This stuff truly just feels like my own skin, no heavy cakey crap at all. Glides over fine lines, and lasts all day. Would work for oily skin, which mine still is sometimes.I would describe the coverage as light to medium, depending how much is applied.Note about CG foundations, they tend to run a bit dark. I have warm-toned skin and in other brands I usually wear the 3rd or 4th lightest shade (think âbuff,â âsand,â âlight beigeâ). However, with CG AquaSmooth, Ivory is the lightest shade available and it works for me. It is perhaps a *tad* too light, but just a tad. And Iâd rather have that, than a yellow or orange line on my neck where the foundation ends!I donât expect this 0.4-oz compact to last as long as a larger bottle of liquid foundation, but itâs cheap enough and convenient enough that I donât mind. Makes my skin look beautiful!

BEST FOUNDATION FOR MATURE SKIN!
I did not have high hopes for this but I was BLOWN AWAY by how beautiful it looks on my skin! For reference Iâm 50 years old with dry skin with some fine lines around my eyes and a bit of hyperpigmentation here and there. I prepped my skin really well with serums, light but very moisturizing cream, and then patted some vitamin E oil on as a last step. I then applied the foundation with the included sponge and finished by pressing it all in with a damp beauty sponge. This foundation is SO lightweight on the skin but covers beautifully and looks like nothing on the skin. It lasted well on me without powder and kept my skin hydrated but not greasy. It just has this very refined appearance that makes you look like you have naturally perfect skin. Iâve tried all kinds of foundations, drugstore and high end and this easily wins over them all. Truly a hidden gem!

I used this many years ago as my foundation, but as I grew older, I needed to change to a liquid foundation. However, I always keep this in my purse to cover blemishes and imperfections and for touch ups. This works better than any cover up I’ve tried.
