My husband LOVES the vest!
My husband walks several miles every morning. We live in the Southeast (US) so it doesn’t get tremendously cold but it does get cold enough to need a heavy jacket. I bought this as a present for him over the holidays. He wasn’t sure how he would like it — it took only ONE walk to convince him. It is well made, not too bulky, and keeps his core warm. (It is supposed to allow the wearer to adjust which areas it heats but I am not sure he has used this,)

It was a perfect gift for my husband who golfs every change he gets. He loves it, and wears it all the time. I usually am at a loss and have no clue what to buy him at Christmas. The absolute only issue I have is…..heated means “warming”. This is not like “heating pad” heat. It doesn’t reach that level and the item description never claims it does.But the warmth you feel while wearing it makes one feel very comfortable!The times concerning battery life before recharge is accurate.

Although i only used this vest for the 1st time today, i am writing a 5 â review based on: the heat settings are noticeably different, the placement of heating elements is where i prefer them versus other models sold elsewhere, the 3 hours battery life for High was spot on (i bought the $20 power bank shown in Amazons “buy together suggestion box”), easy enough to use, seams seem stitched well, the pockets are zippered + allow my hands to rest comfortably, + constant compliments by friends + strangers on a busy Saturday night on the vest’s look + fit (mind you, this is a fancy, high tech gadget for here in the rural Smoky Mtns lol but true). As a Trekkie myself, the placement of its power button gives me some inner glee. I did NOT realize the button stayed lit the entire time during use – a highly noticed-by-others feature. The neck element is my fav for 2 reasons- that is where i tense up so the heat greatly helps soothe my muscles and also i anticipate will be of help on my migraine days. One suggestion to ALL designers of infrared vests – please put an inside pocket adjacent to the battery pocket. This pocket could hold a cell phone which would help “balance” the vest. The weight of the battery makes me feel like i am tilting (or worse, that my left boob is drooping!) Its just an odd feeling to me, i am hoping i get used to that area bring weighted.

I’m one of those people who unfortunately gets cold very easily. And I also live in Canada where winters are cold. I love this vest. I’ve used it a couple times so far. Mostly on cold days when I’m riding/ caring for horses as it allows freedom to move my arms but keeps my core warm.The best is well made. Fits true to size. Has a nice soft lining to it. I it’s water resistant. The best heats up fairly quick if you start it off on the high setting. You’ll feel the warmth better if the layer underneath is thinner. If it’s really cold I’ll toss a water proof winter jacket over the vest and I stay toasty warm and we’ll insulated. Overall I really like this vest. Battery life seems good. Simple to use. If you’re planning on being out for a very long time I’m sure you can buy an extra battery to swap out

The jacket is very light and comfortable. I bought this for my wife who works in a cold environment. She says the jacket’s amazing and keeps her warm all day. This depends on the size of the battery you choose of course. As always, the bigger the better. I bought her a 30,000mAh battery and this lasts approximately 8 to 9 hours when the jacket is set to medium.Yes, I would definitely recommend.

I bought another model (805) for my husband first, and he loves it. I tried his on, then decided to order one for myself, but with an extra heating area. I ordered a large in this model, but when I received it, it larger than my husbands. I ended up giving that one away as a gift, then ordering a medium for myself. The vest is very comfortable to wear. It’s a bit snug in the hips for me, but that is ok. We love the vests. Keeps us warm when it is cool, and we will even pop them on when it’s cool in the house. Hubby wears his when he’s not feeling well. They are easy to use and the battery has good life. I bought a couple spare battery packs to have on hand. I tried a battery pack I had at home, but I think it didn’t have enough power, as it wouldn’t let me use both the front and the back at the same time. The new spare pack I ordered from amazon works without issue.

La descripción es acertada, mido 177 cm y peso unos 78 kg y la talla L de este chaleco dirÃa que facilmente serÃa una M en España (para hombre) o poco más, pueden apreciarse unos materiales bastante decentes tanto por fuera como el forro interior que tiene un tacto aterciopelado, tiene dos bolsillos exteriores muy discretos con cremallera y el interior para la baterÃa si bien lleva cinco parches térmicos no coinciden del todo ni con el tamaño ni con la distribución, los cinco tienen el mismo tamaño y calientan aproximadamente una superficie de unos 6 o 7 cm respectivamente, los tres parches traseros se situan como en la descripción, en el más elevado aún no he conseguido apreciar un calor notable en comparación, pero los dos delanteros uno está a la altura del apéndice y el otro justo debajo del botón de encendido, en el pecho izquierdo. De por sà es un chaleco que abriga sin necesidad de encenderlo, y para sentir realmente el calor que genera tienes que llevarlo muy ajustado, no trae baterÃa, hay que comprarla a parte, creo que vale cualquiera, yo he conectado desde una de 20000 mah asta una de 1500 y ha funcionado con todas, lo que dure ya es otra cosa. Vengo notando que a veces la temperatura varÃa sola, asta ahora solo la baja de forma automática, vamos, que el botón de encendido cambia solo de color no sé si por algún tipo de sistema termostático, y que la luz se queda como parpadeando, en general es un buen chaleco, quizás un poco caro ya que necesitas una inversión extra para una baterÃa externa, que por cierto recomiento no sea muy voluminosa al fin y al cabo la vas a llevar todo el rato en el bolsillo interior.
