Gifted for my cousin who lost her grandpa
She hasnât read it yet but her mom did (her dad was the one that died) and she said it made her cry. Not in a bad way but she found the book to be a peaceful and happy read. Absolutely loved it. She will be reading it for her daughter later on , but since he passed only a week prior to getting the book she wants to hold off a bit. But the mom said she really loves it and canât wait for her daughter to be able to share the joy it gave her.

Perfect for young children experiencing loss
Of all the grief picture books Iâve read, this one made me ððð the most. Its simple rhyming text and beautifully diverse & inclusive illustrations make it a comforting book for any young child dealing with the loss of a loved one (be they human or pet).
