Perfect for cycling
I got these specifically for road cycling on climbs in the summertime, when I’ll be sweating so much that I’d have to remove my sunglasses. While biking, I realized that I needed at least one, but often both of my hands to take my sunglasses off, fold them, put them in my rear jersey pocket (less risky than sticking it in the helmet vents like what a lot of professional cyclists do), or the reverse to put them on. All that was needlessly distracting and, frankly, dangerous. These glasses solve all that. Instead of taking off or putting the glasses on, I just flip them up or down! Takes one second with only one hand.I also appreciate the windblocking abilities of these glasses; yet, they are not so large as to cause creases in my cheeks. The tint and clarity is perfect. Lastly, the price is a genuine bargain. These glasses are virtually perfect. If I had to nitpick, I’d have preferred the lack of a logo. As it is, it has a very small MLB logo at the top of a lens. Admittedly, I am not a baseball fan.

inexpensive and great
gives exactly the right sun blockage for me. When riding bike, I am not suddenly blinded when I pass into the shade as I have experienced with other sunglasses. The flip up function is great, but I had the habit of continually flipping them up & down, probably because I could, and they lasted a little over a year before the attachment broke. For a less expensive pair of sun glasses that offer great visibility, flip up capability & good sun darkening, that’s not bad.

Strap is too short; not the one in the product ad
The sunglasses are nice. Theyâre not too large. They are lightweight and they fit well. However, the strap that is supposed to allow the glasses to hang from your neck is totally useless. It is so short it barely goes around my head. Also the strap is not at all like the one in the product description photo, which is annoying.

Hold Up Incredibly Well, Cute As Heck On My Kiddo, But Uncomfortable Nose Pads
Edit: Right after I submitted my original review, one of the nose pads on my son’s sunglasses fell off. Fortunately they slide right back on, which was fine — however, it was only then that I realized how HUGE these nose pieces are!! They are straight and rock hard and ginourmous and there’s no cushion of any sort, and I have absolutely no idea how they don’t drive my son insane. When I tried them on myself I couldn’t stand them. And no, you can’t just stick a cushion nose pad on them because of how they’re shaped as well as with the already massive size.Since the nose pads can be removed leaving behind a plastic post that they slide on to, I crafted a custom pair of nose pieces out of Sugru that were smaller and more ergonomic. These worked out great, with my son reporting that these pieces were so much more comfortable.Unfortunately, for the ridiculous franken-nose pads on these things, I’m docking a full star from my original assessment. I honestly feel a little bad for doing that because otherwise these things have been absolutely awesome and have held up very well, especially for the price. But, come on, these nose thingies are just ridiculously huge and just don’t make any sense with these sunglasses.Original review: I purchased these sunglasses a year and a half ago for my then 8 year old to wear during morning soccer games. As it turned out, sunglasses aren’t allowed during soccer games because of some “unfair advantage” crap, so they didn’t see much use until little league baseball the following spring. Ever since then, however, he’s worn them to games, practices, the beach, for helping his dad in the yard, while playing with friends, even during school recess. While he’s been fairly careful to take care of them (he’s not always so careful with his things) and make sure to put them back in their hard case (a separate purchase), they’ve held up really well to near daily use from late winter to well into fall.Yes, they are a little bit big on him, but I didn’t want a pair of youth sunglasses that he’d outgrow in 6 months anyway. Despite the large size, he’s had no issues with keeping them on. Plus, they look really cool on his handsome face! The attached lanyard has been CRUCIAL in keeping track of them and preventing them from being dropped or misplaced… until a few days ago, that is, when he misplaced them at school. But since this is the first time he’s lost them in the year+ he’s had them and since he has a baseball game in just a few days, I’m ordering a second pair just in case he can’t find the first pair. If he loses the second pair, though… well, we’ll cross that bridge if we have to.Bottom line: these have been great sunglasses for my 10 year old for over a year now. They’ve held up well, the lanyard has been super helpful in keeping track of them, and they look cute as heck on him. Yes, they’re a little bit big on him but he’s had no issues with keeping them on and he’ll still be able to wear them a few years from now.

Just okay
These are okay, but they broke relatively quickly from flipping up and down too often. Not bad for the price, but personally I would recommend spending a little more for something better. They are also kind of goofy looking… I look a lot better in some Pit Vipers.

They block out the sun and they flip on and off very easily
This is exactly what I wanted. No, I don’t play baseball (or softball) but on my morning drive I often alternate between “still dark” and “rising sun right in my eyes.” It is very useful to have sunglasses that I can flip on and off rather than have to raise them (which can stretch them out) or take them off altogether. I imagine these would also be good for certain sports, but know they have other practical uses as well.I’m a big fan.
