Can use without case, tacky and laggy screen, quiet, slow to setup and charge
This tablet is OK. If you have a small child and don’t want to spend a lot of money on a tablet that they could break, this is a good choice.
The screen is tacky and laggy and not a high-quality touch screen. When you scroll, it lags about half a second, meaning that if you scroll up and down an inch, it only catches up at the opposite end of the scroll. I’m sure this factors into the price being this low.
It played a 4K YouTube video at 1080p setting in YouTube, which then downscaled to 1280Ã800. There were no stutters whatsoever and it looked very nice. It was actually beautiful. The camera is very below average. I wouldn’t say it’s terrible, but it’s not good. The front camera is better than the back, so it would be OK for occasional Zoom meetings. The front camera is weirdly off-center though, making those Zoom meetings a bit awkward because you won’t look straight to the other people on the call.
The sound is quiet. This is a feature, not a bug, if you are giving it to a child. The pink case muffles it even more. You could always pair a Bluetooth headset. We did and it was easily done if you swipe down from the top and hold down the Bluetooth button.
The silicone case is actually more magenta than pink. We actually prefer it, but it just means not to get your heart too set on the color you see in the photo, because it might vary. You can remove the tablet from the case, but it’s not easy at all and your child probably couldn’t do it. Also, the case has a very nice stand so that you can easily use the tablet as a small TV.
The setup took about 45 minutes to copy all the apps from my wife’s phone. But it worked easily as specified in the on screen instructions. It’s also pretty slow to charge. Also, the included charger gets quite warm. But I recommend that you leave it plugged in because it does drain pretty quickly when watching a movie. Not so much when web browsing or checking your email.
This doesn’t compete with a $500+ tablet, but for this price I would still give it a 4½ out of 5. It’s a little bit poor at everything it does, but it’s marketed for a child who won’t really care.
Also, for anyone who cares, it’s running Android 14 and it does come with access to the Play Store.

Plenty of Entertainment
The Tablet is true to spec from looking over the system, and the screen sports a pretty impressive size and clarity. The case is made from a type of foam that feels akin to a squish football, so it feels quite sturdy for a child to handle. Speaking of handle, the case has an integrated one: it’s actually rather stout and makes handling the tablet easy, especially when you’re a parent constantly with your hands full, it also can fold back into a kick stand which works very well.
The battery life gets plenty of entertainment time, with a run time about 4 hours from full charge while watching media, but I also hear that some of the parental controls might contribute to sucking battery juice.
Now, regarding the parental controls, if you plan to set up this tablet for your child, it was the most frustrating part, that might be more a problem with how the software works, and not to do with the tablet, but that just brings up that setup is quite time consuming and to keep this in mind when ordering this.
Overall, the tablet is very nice for what you’d give a child, and featuring a modern android version, you have all your typical features of this operating system. The hardware strong enough to run most typical mobile games pretty decently from what Ive tested, and makes a great streaming device or platform for your mobile education lessons.
