Smells and works amazingly
This was suggested to me by my beard stylist the day she trimmed me for my wedding day. I have not used anything else since that day, and the wife loves it maybe more than I do. It’s not like typical beard wax that is stiff and difficult to use. This is like a nice, soft, pliable butter that is easy to manipulate, but stiff enough to get my wavy 8 inch beard to cooperate. I am running low, so will likely be buying more soon.

Been growing a beard for the last few years, but I keep it on the short side and tight. Must have tried a dozen or so other balms. Most of them seemed to leave the beard too oily, too shinny, rough or had a scent that I wasnât a fan off
This balm is amazing and I wish I found this product before. It goes in super well, a little goes a long way. It does not make the beard seem shiny or oily. It makes the beard amazingly soft feeling and man do I like the scent of this Executive balm.
It has a rich, semi sporty cologne scent. It doesnât smell too woodsy or earthy. The scent is also not too strong that you will give you better half migraines.
This balm has everything that I was looking for, great scent, leaves the beard looking good, clean and crisp (especially if you brush it afterwards), gets out fly aways, and very easy to apply.
This company definitely nailed the beard balm niche. Iâm definitely a Live Bearded Lifer.

Live Bearded makes great products!
I bought this unscented version to make my own beard butter. I had two Creed colognes that I could never wear as they were too strong for my wife. I took half the butter out of the jar, put it into another jar, and mixed some cologne in each bottle. Bingo! Custom Creed-scented beard butter that I could wear daily that wasn’t too strong. And each jar has kept it’s scent just fine. Love it when a plan comes together!

Beard butter for the top of the list
The amount of beard butters, balms, oils, you name it, that i have bought is crazy when looking for that good scent.
I say that to mention that this brand with the American scent offered, is easily at the top of the list for the most reactions and questions i get from people even through hours of warehouse maintenance. Ill have people asking what im wearing 10hrs into shift. Its a brilliant smell that isnt overwhelming by any means but holds strong to the scent.
I have a shelf in my room and a shelf in the bathroom dedicated to everything beard and this brand/scent looks to always be replaced when even close to empty.
The butter melts in the hands easy and covers a generous amount compared to other brands tried before. A strong buy/pass recommendation comes from the fact that it adds a good amount of shine when applied and keeps my beard oiled to my liking throughout hours of sweat without clumping up as Iâve experienced in the past.

I want to like this so bad… but just cant.
Ok… This is a tough review for me as I want to love this product so much. The people at the company are cool, and this product checks off pretty much every box of what I’m looking for. But there is some good with some bad.
The good: 1 – Pretty much the exact hold im looking for. I dont want hair gel hold, but want enough hold to keep the hairs in place most of the day. 2 – Great consistancy and easy to melt down a small amount in your hands to apply to your beard. 3 – I can immediately tell its hydrating and conditioning my beard. It left it super smooth.
The bad: 1 – Holy Crap the scent is STRONG. There is NOTHING subtle about the sandalwood. It is potent… It stings the nostrils. I smell ZERO vanilla. With all the positive reviews of this scent I had to try it… But dang this is strong. 2 – While it is great on my beard, if you get some on your bare neck skin it is on the greasy side… You will also need to wash you hands after applying… with soap…
Overall I’m giving this product 3 stars and trying to be neutral. But I had to leave a review of it to help out others that are looking at this. I absolutely cannot wear this (just because of the scent) to work… Which is a bummer. Apparently I’m just not a sandalwood guy. However just because the company is so cool and since this stuff is made in ‘Merica, I will probably plunk down some coin on the Unscented version and give that a shot.

Really awesome scent
I love this stuff, but be aware… if you live in the South, it will arrive in liquid form. It has a VERY low melting point, and it can’t take the summer heat. I’ve ordered from both Ama and the seller directly and each time it shows up melted. Both times, the container leaked some. They had enclosed it in a plastic wrap, which helped contain it, but it still came out. The paper/foil seal in side the lid failed, and I guess the plastic threads just couldn’t contain the liquid. It wasn’t a TON of liquid that came out, but enough to be quite messy. After a few hours inside, it goes back to solid form no problem. Still an awesome product though.
