    Great Book!
I bought approx 6 new books for my 7yr old grandson and I to read together. And out of them all – this is his absolute favorite! It is very interactive. He reads a color-coded paragraph, then I read a color-coded paragragh – then there is a 3rd color-coded paragraph that we read together. He is very engaged while reading, and loves the fact that we each have “assigned” paragraphs to read. I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS TYPE BOOK. I shall be looking to see if there are others to purchase.

A must have for any primary reader
This series is so much fun! Keeps early and late stages readers engaged. Early readers will love the predictibility, and late stagers will just have fun. I get daily requests to read this out loud in groups or one on one.

My 6 year old loves this book
I bought this book based on the reviews from amazon. When I got it, I admit I was a bit disappointed. The rhymes, I thought, were not exactly very interesting and each little piece repeats “I read to you and you’ll read to me.”Much to my surprise, my 6 year old, who is beginning to read, loves this book. She wants to read it every night. Sometimes she picks to read the purple lines (lines are color-coded so parents and kids can take regular turns). Then she switches to the red lines for a second read. The repetition at the end of each rhyme, which I disliked, gives her much delight because she can read those lines without hesitation. So this is a great book for kindergarteners who are just beginning to learn to read. I can imagine six months down the road my daughter would much prefer something more sophisticated. But now she loves this book.

    Big Hit
We tried one of the books in this series and it went over like gangbusters. So, we’ve gotten a few more, and they have all been hits. The stories, (or fables, or tall tales, or poems – depending on the book), are fun and the opportunity for interaction and independent and confident reading is wizard. Very happy with these. And a nice switch from predictable cartoon franchise style books.

    Great fun for all ages!
I have used this book in my school library for years. Now that I am in a new library (new for me) I had to purchase this book to share. Wow! What a reception it is getting. Two cute little 2nd grade boys love reading from it at recess. Sixth graders, from ESL to GATE students are volunteering to read from it to their classes. Eventually everyone in my new school will come to love it as my old one did. The stories are adorable and make reading aloud fun. Recommended for everyone of all ages from reluctant readers to those that just want to perform. As long as you have two people to share the reading you will love it.

    Love this!
I bought these for my daughter (1st grade). She LOVES this book! I bought it to practice fluency, and it has helped quite a bit. We always read it through 2-3 times with the same “roles” because she comes across words occasionally that are new to her. Then, we switch, since she’s already heard it a few times, but is able to concentrate more on seeing the words. We also bought the “Scary” version of this for Halloween, and she loves it just as much.

He and she? Dot and Dash? Squeal and Squeak? To and Fro?”I hate my hat”では、1人がかぶっている帽子について話します。I hate my hat! I think it’s nice.I hate my hat! You’ve said that twice.どの話も 最後は”You read to me, I’ll read to you.”
