Lots of helpful information and ideas for alternatives in the recipes.
Great cool book with delicious recipients. The recipes are well written with detailed information on how long to store. I only have one âcomplaintâ Iâll list at the bottom. Nice weekly meal plans laid out with lots of great ideas to keep it simple but fun. And these really are great recipes for meal prep because they re-heat beautifully. We have made the Kung Pao Chicken & Vegetables, Tex Mex Chicken Lasagna, and tonight the Tandoori Chicken Legs – all super yummy! What I love the most about this book is it breaks down the recipes into simple steps and gives great explanations of how to cook or how to make it more fun. They give you storage tips as well telling you how long you can store a dish. I also love some of the alternative ideas they give you to certain ingredients. The ONLY complaint I have is they do not list the sodium content which is something that is super important to me. So I have been painstakingly typing the recipes into my fitness/food tracker app. Most recipes are spot on for my sodium in take or I just carefully chose a low sodium ingredient (found a 0mg sodium tortilla at Whole Foods!).Overall though these recipes are very well thought out and can help someone who finds clean eating to be very overwhelming in terms of cooking and food prep.

Love this cookbook!
I’ve made almost all of the recipes in this book except the breakfast recipes bc I have a go to for that already, and they are all awesome. They’re a little more on the labor intensive side, but you get out what you put in. These are gourmet recipes and you can taste the difference. Esp the salads. I usually hate salad but I like these salads. The zesty lemon vinaigrette recipe is so good. Oh and another of my favorites is the jerk seasoned Waldorf salad. Ooh and the barbecue pork – so so good. The only one I didn’t like was the tofu and Brussels sprouts but that’s bc I don’t like tofu. I’m going to try it with chicken next time bc I like the other ingredients and flavors. I could go on about all my favorite recipes but you really should just buy it and try them for yourself. This book really got me jump started on healthy meal prepping and I’m still going a few months later! I have so much energy now that I’ve cut out all the junk, it’s crazy. So if that’s what you’re trying to do too then this is a great resource 🙂

Good information
A lot of good dietary information is in this book. We liked some of the recipes and have a few others we’re going to try. A lot of the recipes use spices and ingredients such as onions and chipotle and fresh ginger that we would not use, but many other people probably would try them also.

Simple Yummy Recipes
Iâve enjoyed this book and meal- prepping, very well organized, thoughtful and well-written recipes. I like how the ingredients are simple and can be used in various recipes throughout the book. I skipped around if a recipe didnât appeal to me, combined some weeks or supplemented with a recipe from the back of the book to complete my week of prep. High flavor profiles help stay on track with healthier recipes, lots of great recipes for low-carb options. Iâve done 5-6 weeks of meal prepping so far and still have more recipes dog-eared, plus will go back and repeat my favorites.

Well written but basically youâre eating leftovers daily.
Love the quality of the book and itâs well written. Very informative for someone new to clean eating. However, I was disappointed with the eating plans. I wanted six weeks of menus. Basically you make three things and eat them repeatedly all week. I wanted more. There are more recipes and you can map them out yourself. Which I couldâve done from googling. I bought it to have it all mapped out for me. Planning to eat the same thing every day was disappointing to me.

True meal prep
Love how this book can be used for 1 or 2 people. Most books I have used are for a family of 4 or more.

SOOOOO Good!
Iâve always wanted to start meal prepping, but I never knew where to begin. Iâm a decent cook and I know all the basic recipes, but I wanted to try something new. The recipes in here so far are absolutely delicious, they are Super easy to make, and they do not break the bank!

Not for beginners
Ok, first of all, the recipes in this book are delicious and absolutely helping me lose weight. Since starting this book my eczema has also cleared up which I didn’t even expect. The only reason I give this book 4 and not 5 stars is because of how the recipes are written and the suggested prep instructions. Make sure to read through each “chapter” and recipe at least 3 times before starting. This is certainly not for beginners, so it’s a good thing I’m not. I had to constantly search for substitutions to things in the recipes that I don’t like – such as mushrooms – or leave things out. Which, again, everything was delicious so that’s fine. I just wish the book would mention things like this because a lot of recipes use ingredients that aren’t suited for most people’s taste buds. Another example: beets and goat cheese. What I found strange about that particular recipe wasn’t just the flavor combination, but the fact that it says you can sub whatever beets they say to use for canned ones. It’s a “clean eating” cookbook! Why would you not suggest using FRESH beets??Anyway, would I recommend this book? Absolutely. But never to someone who doesn’t have a lot of experience cooking or has never meal prepped before.Oh one last thing. If you absolutely hate onions of any sort, just look for a different book because they’re in almost every recipe.
