Very informative and a quick read. Jon talks about saving time which I am a strong advocate of. I literally read the whole book before I went to bed. Great rapid fire sources of information with additional supplemental links.

Same exact information that’s in other personal training book by same author
If you have his other book, don’t get this one. It doesn’t have any new information that is not already in the other personal training book. It’s not even re-worded or rearranged. It’s literally the same information word for word. Book is useful if you don’t have the other one so I’m giving it 4 stars.

A Quick Read with Killer Content
I’ve been following Jon online for a while and have been impressed with his complete, yet succinct, presentation of knowledge, tips, and tricks. The Pocketbook is clear and concise, a quick read with killer content; the sales information is a nice overview of what I’ve read in other books in addition to practical tips for every day efficiency. Thank you for putting it all in one place!

How to market your talents successfully
the title and picture lead me to believe it would include actually personal training tips…not…lot of info on how to run a successful personal training business…how to get clients (fill out calendar with fake appointments) lure clients in by flattery etc. and there are no certification programs worth the money out there…have training credentials might help convince some clients…satisfied customers bring satisfied customers …focus on business people who want to look good…real estate sales people, etc

a MUST read for all trainers
I have been a personal trainer for about six years. I found this book to be a great addition to my training library. I run a private studio and will have this on loan for all of my trainers to read. Every trainer should check this book out! Full of very useful information for trainers of all types and in all situations.

Eased my nerves & mind.
I have been working as a group fitness instructor for 5 years. Just received my PT Ceeridication and tell you the truth I’m nervous!! There is so much to learn beyond the Certification book. This author knows the ins and outs. He gives several life training experiences of his own. I would also get the book that compliments this one. He has eased my mind knowing I will be an awesome trainer.

I believe every person working or considering to work as a personal trainer should read this book. It would help weed out the masses of the trainers who are not committed to personal growth and development, which would help to elevate the profession.

From a trainer of 9 years +.I brought this book for some new ideas on how to handle different things we encounter in our day to day. Have to say wasn’t disappointed at all, some things I had been doing and was just nice to read I had been heading in the right direction and others gave me a hole new way of thinking.Whether your new to PT or been at it for years, you will enjoy this book. For what is cost and the way its laid out, its one to have at your desk.I’m sure it will be referred to again and again.

I bought this after finding the PDTC website. It came through the post box and I flicked through the pages quickly, then read it from cover to cover. I was doing somethingâs it covers already. But there where other aspects I hadnât considered and potentially overlooked.Iâve referred back to it on several occasions and recommended it to a few friends. I would highly recommend this book and I donât take a lot of time to write reviews however this was worth it.
