These are so small, portable and versatile. When I am going patient teaching at work, I am finding out that most people donât know how to check their own heart rate to make sure itâs safe to take their heart medication at home. You can use them during your workouts to check your heart rate. For physical therapy to see how well someone is tolerating the activity. Great for this pandemic we are having for when someone is tested positive and needs to check oxygen levels to know when to go to the ER. And anyone with asthma, emphysema should have one. Also anyone with heart issues and on medication to control the heart rhythm. I have notice that people are wanting to get their elderly family members Apple watches just for the EKG aspect. The Apple EKG component is very limited and not a true EKG. You mostly need to know if the heart rate is irregular, too fast, or too slow . This pulse oximeter can do the same thing for pennies to the dollar of the Apple Watch that costs hundreds of dollars. Plus, most of the older generation is not going to learn how to use the Apple Watch. Get this instead.
