I recently got my hands on the Braun hair clipper set with 13 attachments, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase! Great trimmer, not so great carrying case
Replaced a couple of old trimmers that worked well enough but their batteries never lasted all that long – one had to charge all day then discharged after one use, the other worked well but was overall a cheap trimmer with even a worse battery. So far, this Braun lives up to it’s advertisements. I charged it fully when I received it, have used it three times and the thing is holding a charge. I just took it on a trip and forgot the charger but it still worked great so if you’re looking for a robust trimmer, this is the onw. The trimmer has enough different rimming accessories for body hair, shaving, and if you have kids, the kit has a head-hair attachment.This is a terrific trimmer. I rated it a four because I was disappointed with the travel case. I really wanted to be able to store the trimmer when not in use but when the trimmer, charger, and all of the attachments are stored in their respective locations, the case just doesn’t close. It actually does close but it feels like the one or two of the attachment would break. So, I leave it plugged in and the case near by. When I traveled, I carried only those attachments I thought I’d need. In that instance, the case worked great so maybe I’ll remove the ones I wouldn’t typically use. I hope Braun redesigns the case. I’m not wild about the fabric holders, Maybe they could change the design to include more hard plastic where each piece would fit tightly and the covers would close sufficiently.

Trims really nice.
I really like this trimmer it is easy to use & helps keep my beard trimmed well perfect size & it holds a charge for a long time in between uses. It is cordless that makes it even nicer to use & take with you on trips.

The beard guard easily slips off during trimming!
If you’d like to shave random patches of the beard you painstakingly grew off out off nowhere, this is the trimmer for you! Not to mention that the awkward, open-ended design of the guards leads to uneven trimming in places where the hair growth direction changes. That’s present in any trimmer, and obviously you have to learn how to shave and trim properly – but it’s much, much worse with this one than any other trimmer I’ve ever used.Between that and the guard itself randomly popping off for the adjustable guard just collapsing into the lowest setting during trimming, this trimmer is a great way to end up with the most ridiculous, patchy beard on the planet – or just having to shave the whole damn thing off and start over.After the third time it happened to me in 6 months, I threw it away. It’s never happened to me a single time with any other trimmer I’ve ever owned in the 26 years I’ve been shaving, b and it happened to me three times in 6 months with this one.Maybe I just got a defective one, but it’s enough of a pain in the neck that I’m not willing to give them a second chance.The only redeeming feature is that the sensitive areas / body hair trimmer did seem to work pretty well. It doesn’t work as well as purpose-built sensitive area trimmers though, so do yourself a favor and get a better beard trimmer and something separate for down there.

I purchased this product to replace an older (Braun) version that I had owned for @7 years (the older product would no longer hold a charge, I had to use it plugged in). This new version is better than the old; the stay sharp blades are very sharp and precise, the adjustment to determine the length of hair you want to leave is easy to use and provides the same distance across the length of the blade., the additional attachments increase its versatility and the battery does seem to last “forever” when fully charged (says 100 hours – this is a lot of beard trims). I do not use the product to cut my hair so I cannot comment on this function, however, if it is anything like the control you have over the trim of your beard….it will be great. Braun and quality go hand in hand.
