Such a sweet book
This is a very sweet and well illustrated book on losing a pet. Not gonna lie it made me a little teary eyed. This book is great for any child (or even adult!) that has lost a pet. They’re not really gone, they’re always there in spirit. It definitely makes anyone feel better. Love it. Beautiful.

Beautiful Book to Remind People that Animals are Gone but Never FURgotten.
I had the pleasure to read âIâll Be Your Friend Foreverâ by Amulya Veldana Vadali and illustrated by Julia Moroko. This story isnarrated from the point of view of a golden retriever that has crossed the ârainbow bridge.â Throughout the story, the dog is reassuring owner of the special connection they had and how it will always live on in her heart and mind.As a former literacy coach and current K-6 literacy teacher, I love that this book is narrated from the point of view of the dog. Additionally, the gentle tone, rhyming, and beautiful word choice makes the book a wonderful resource for children to cope with a challenging situation. Most of all, there are great activities included at the end of the book to help children remember their special pet (and drawings of pets submitted by readers). This is a fantastic book for anyone who has lost a special pet.

The best book I’ve ever read about pet grief
This delightfully illustrated book featuring kids and pets, so many pets, is, in theory a book for kids who have had to say goodbye to a beloved dog or cat or goldfish or snake. There’s lots of pets I never thought about that are featured in this gift of a book. The featured children are multi-cultural which I love because every country in the world accepts that pets are special and that when they die we hurt. It’s a universal theme,I’ll Be Your Friend Forever: A Heartfelt Message From Across the Rainbow Bridge is a MUST have-on-hand book so that when someone loses a pet you already have a copy to gift to your grieving child or even an adult. What I love the most about I’ll Be Your Friend Forever is that it is filled with joy and hope. We all know that pets die. But we also know that the bond between a pet and a child, or an adult, is like no other. When people adopt an animal they learn how to love, to have empathy, to trust. Animals make us better people. So when we have to say goodbye to a pet who has helped us to who we are today, it hurts. It tears our hearts out and we wonder can we even go on.I’ll Be Your Friend Forever teaches us that the answer is yes, we will not just survive but we will thrive because of the lessons we learned and the memories we share with that special pet. This is a book for children and I think adults will love it even more. At the end of the book there is a list of ideas to celebrate your pet who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. There are some really GREAT ideas! The rest of the book is filled with hand drawn pictures that kids submitted to be featured. My goodness these are just the best!As an author who writes about rescue dogs I need this book on a daily basis. It’s a true joy to share Amulya Veldanda Vadali’s important book. I want her to be a best-seller. Not because of the money, though money can be a good thing, but because her book is amazing and the children and adults who are lucky to read it at just the right time will wonder how they would have gotten through the big goodbye without it.Please support indie authors in general because there are many books that need to be out in the world. This is one of them.If I could give it a ten star review I would without hesitation.

Perfect book for pet loss.
My daughter is 6, she lost her best friend. I would give this book 10 stars if I could. Itâs non-religious, comforting, validating, and gives practical ideas to celebrate your pet. If your child, or even adult lost a petâ¦their friendâ¦GET THIS BOOK. Itâs so sweet, and brought us all to tears.

I loved this heartwarming story that beautifully captures the emotions following the loss of a pet and helps children to understand how to heal.A sorrowful topic is handled so delicately and told from a beloved petâs perspective. I could feel the love radiating from the pages, reminding me of how much love we all have to share with the world. The author also included a helpful list of how to celebrate your pet, to help with the healing journey.

Oh what a gorgeous and emotional book this is! Like many – I have cried when loosing a pet – but as a mother- trying to explain this and comfort your children through this loss, is sometimes hard. I wish Iâd have had this book to share with my girls a few years ago.So – this story starts by sharing the love and fun that children have with pets. The snake illustration made me laugh – my nephew has a snake that he loves – but my face is usually the same as the drawings if he takes it out of its cage! The build up to the pets passing away and the emotion around this – is beautifully and sensitively captured.Additionally- the illustrations are beautiful and there are great tips and advice provided too. A highly recommended read.

The book offers a truly impactful and unique perspective on friendship with pets and how to heal when they’re no longer with us. It is definitely recommended for kids who are dealing with the grief of losing their own pets, and it also teaches ways to honor them by creating a positive legacy. Highly recommended!
