I have only been taking this product for two days. Once per day, right when I wake up.
Prior to taking this, I was having SEVERE hot flashes on average of 6 times per day for over 4 years post hysterectomy. I never wanted to take hormones so I just suffered. I am currently 51 years old with my ovaries in tact.
Like others have said, the hot flashes went down right away which absolutely blows my mind. Impossible I thought! I am down to only about 2 hot flashes right now and they were incredibly mild and short. But the CRAZY thing for me is that later in the daytime my body has actually been cold. With goosebumps. My hands, my feet, and even my face. But not my body. It is the first time in 4 years I didn’t raise and lower my thermostat between 70-73 degrees a million times a day. In fact, I couldn’t even bare the A/C today and my home is at 74 degrees and I’m cold. UNHEARD of. This has also COMPLETELY killed my appetite for any type of food.
I am a bit worried because I feel like what I am experiencing may be the symptoms of low blood pressure or sugar. And perhaps I am because I have no appetite? I dunno but from what I have Googled, it’s safe to take with few exceptions. Namely liver concerns or conditions that are hormone sensitive.
So I guess my review is so far so good, albeit odd. It’s FAR BETTER than the misery I have dealt with and I am hopeful.
BTW, I found this product by reading reviews about a popular “menopause” products that go for $30 a bottle and a reviewer pointed out that this particular ingredient was all that you need. I would absolutely agree.
I will update my review if things change or if they stay great. This could be life changing in such an amazing way for me and many of us!

Dramatic Reduction in Hot Flashes – My Sanity is Back!
I’m perimenopausal and have been having hot flashes as often as multiple times per HOUR for the past couple months. My sleep has been disrupted, waking after midnight and tossing and turning before falling back asleep hours later. I was losing my mind. I researched options that wouldn’t involve hormone therapy and discovered that there is scientific evidence to support that black cohosh reduces hot flashes in women, so I gave it a try and bought this bottle of Nature’s Bounty.
After just 2 or 3 days of taking one a day I noticed a dramatic reduction in hot flashes. Soon after that I started sleeping through the night aside from a bathroom trip which I’ve always done anyway. But now I’m falling back asleep again after.
It has now been two weeks and I’m only having 2 or 3 hot flashes a DAY, compared to several every hour a lot of the time. And the hot flashes I do have are less severe and almost always triggered by doing something hot like blow drying my hair or drinking hot tea. Previously I was hot flashing while sitting at my desk working and with no environmental trigger. My resting internal body temperature also seems to have decreased a bit as I noticed I can set my air conditioning in my house one or two degrees higher without feeling faint.
I will say the dosage of these is much higher than the recommended daily dose of black cohosh and much higher than the amount used in the studies I read. But I couldn’t find anything at a reasonable price with a lower dose. I’ll figure that out next but in the mean time I didn’t care as I was desperate for relief.
