MVP of dry shampoos
If you are on the fence about trying this… GET IT. You won’t be disappointed. This dry shampoo is an absolute champ. It got me through a weekend of working and concerts and my hair looked great the whole time- and I only used it once! It’s very lightweight and adds perfect volume. As long as you apply it at the first signs of oily roots. While the application isn’t the norm, you get used to it quickly. The best part is not having any toxic propellants that just dry out and damage your hair. Never going back to the spray cans.

I have thin hair and will occasionally wait to wash (instead of AM, wait until PM). My hair will get slightly oily looking since it is thin, along the hairline. I add a little bit of Billie and it truly works! I’ve tried sprays, but have never found one that works. This powder for sure works, I love it! I recommend.

This dry shampoo powder works fine. One negative is that it’s a little hard to control where it goes. It tends to fall everywhere , not just in your hair.

Gritty
It works ok but I’ve had better. And it stays gritty so when I touch my scalp it feels like there’s sand there and my fingers turn brown (I have the one for dark hair). I’ll give it to my son and try another. It did NOT give my hair any volume either. It did help with the oil. Note: I have very fine hair.

Easy to use, easy to control the amount unlike sprays
I wasnât sure what Iâd think of this, but I really like it! Iâve always used spray before, and I never know how much product will come out. This is much easier to control so I donât get coated with the stuff. It seems to work better for my hair too. I try not to wash my hair every day, and this really helps keep it looking clean between washes. Itâs easy to put in my hair and brush out. I like that the smell isnât overpowering like some of the sprays too. Itâs a real time saver so I donât have to wash my hair too.

Okay so let me start off by saying I have a lot of fine hair so the oil has NO where to go. Before trying this, my favorite dry shampoo was the IGK charcoal aerosol $33.BUT THIS?! For $14?! AMAZING. I have dark brown hair & this leaves no cast after you brush it out AND I went 5 days without washing my hair which is like borderline impossible with ANY other dry shampoo. IGK gave me like 2 days – max. This stuff? Ive used it every day & it doesn’t feel gritty or sticky in my hair & it absorbs oil like no other.Buy it!

I have tried a lot of dry shampoo, and I love a lot of the products I have tried from Billie. But this is a big no! It leaves residue all over and left my head so itchy all day! I would skip it and try something else. This really isn’t worth the money.

Great product
So far, this dry shampoo is amazing. Iâve been looking for a non aerosol dry shampoo that uses rice starch for forever, most other non aerosol dry shampoos use tapioca starch or other starches and they just do absolutely nothing for my hair, almost makes it feel more greasy. Products with rice starch are my GO TO but aerosols always seem like they go so fast and the residue gets all over the bathroom so I really wanted to dry a powder dry shampoo to see if it would last longer and have a more âtargetedâ application. Iâm also very funny about the texture, I donât like anything to feel sticky or tacky like hairspray. I want the soft clean look and for that reason batiste and anomaly have always been my favorite but like I said they donât last too long and make a mess.This product came very fast, packaged in a cute little box so nothing was broken, product wasnât spilled everywhere. I washed my hair in the morning then before bed I parted my hair in different sections and added a small amount to each part then rubbed it in. Iâm now on day 3 with just one little touch up to the crown of my head (oiliest part for me) and my hair is soft with no stringy pieces and looks freshly washed. (For reference I am a very oily/ greasy individual, my skin gets oily like 30 minutes after cleansing. I am also postpartum and have been struggling with superrr oily hair and havenât been able to go 2 days without washing even with dry shampoo.) Thereâs no tacky/ sticky/ hair spray feeling, I didnât have to brush it out, and no buildup of product on my scalp. I have dark brown hair and I bought the light because Iâm not a fan of tented dry shampoo because of the mess it makes, I have NO white cast or powder look at all.Iâm not sure how this stuff would work when applies to already greasy hair (Iâm testing that next), I know thatâs not the right way to apply but everyone forgets sometimes. Either way I will definitely be purchasing again!
