Worthy investment
The learning machine is well-made, and the cards are sturdy enough for little hands to fumble with. I can see my prek students explore the games for a good few minutes in one sitting, and the amount of games and activities offered by these cards can last quite a few sittings. It will be a good filler activity for little children. Worthy investment.

Fun educational tool
The Think Academy Kids Learning Pad is awesome for keeping kids engaged while they learn. It’s super easy to use and has tons of fun games that teach everything. I love how it makes learning fun and independent. Perfect for any parent looking to add a little more educational play into their kid’s routine!

Fun and educational but needs a few improvements
The tablet: I wasn’t sure what to expect from this pad, and it ended up exceeding my expectations. The pad itself feels durable, sturdy, and well-made. There is a large button on the front, which is easy for little ones to turn on and off by holding down for several seconds. However, it protrudes quite far from the tablet, making it more challenging to store and transport. I prefer the button to be indented so the tablet would be slimmer. It could also get turned on accidentally if carried in a bag, and an indented button would help prevent that. A volume button on the side has five different volume settings, which is great. The pad requires 3 AA batteries (included), but you will want to keep extra on hand and a screwdriver to change them if you are on a long car ride. Also, while the adjustable volume is nice, headphones would be even nicer, and there is no headphone jack on this. So if your kid uses it in a public space, everyone has to listen to it, making it less ideal for restaurants, airplanes, churches, and car rides.The cards: The pad has no flashing lights or screen, but the tradeoff for that is that you need to store and transport a big stack of cards. The cards, while sturdy, are still cards and crease easily when bent. I think our 2-year-old could do a lot of damage to them in a short amount of time. It also does not come with anywhere to store the cards. A pouch to put them in or a sleeve on the back of the learning pad to store at least some cards would have been very useful. I am looking for a way to keep them contained and stored safely, which, for now, is a gallon-size Ziplock bag. The cards are fairly easy to install on the pad, but they tend to curve in one direction, which means that they only lay flat half of the time. If they curve upward, they tend to flop around on the pad. A clip to hold the top of the card down or even tiny magnets would be nice to keep the cards lying flat.The Content: This set includes four groups of cards, all double-sided. There are three basic letters by Peppa Pig, two sing-along cards, 10 Math, 10 Learn to Read, and 10 Speak and Spell. It totals 70 different pages, and each page has a lot of content. Kids can use each page in exploration or game mode and ask for hints if they get stuck on a question. There are many things to click on and learn about, as well as lots of sound effects and songs. It is a great way to keep kids entertained for a long time without being an iPad, and so far, I have been impressed with the amount and quality of content. The included card sets are geared toward preschoolers aged 3-4, but the company plans to release additional cards for older kids.Overall, there is a lot to love about this screen-free tablet, but a few changes would make it much more user-friendly: an indented power button, a headphones jack, a place to store the cards, and something to help the cards lay flat.

Great for kindergarten kids
I got the think academy Learning Pad for my 5-year-old, and he figured it out instantly on his own. He loves inserting different cards and interacting with the pad.
