Finally – a head shaver that works!
Performance wise, Iâm pretty pleased with it. I use it to shave my head, and am prone to razor bumps. I have had zero nicks, and only one razor bump in ~2 months of use. Coincidentally, it does not do as well on my neck/throat, and has actually caused some irritation there. But, everyone is a little different. Iâve read some reviews that say the opposite.It has plenty of power, and works great both wet and dry. It only takes a few minutes to shave, and seems to hold the charge well. So, Iâm not sure what some other reviewers complained about with regard to battery life. Iâve only have ti charge it once a month or so. I prefer to use it with a little shaving cream on my head to minimize any chance for friction.The shave head is easy enough to clean, although opening the head can be a little tricky when your hands are wet. I havenât noticed any issues with the head getting clogged, whether shaving wet or dry.As for the accessories included. Itâs a nice touch, but they are basically fluff. I would much rather they included a storage case, than what effectively amounts to a shoe shiner. Does anyone actually buff their head? Then again, I guess if need to polish your shoes, problem solved!For me, finding this razor was major win. Iâd highly recommend trying the freebird.

Itâs a good product but advertising is a bit off.
The product works well, but the waterproofing capability could be more clearly advertised. My main issue is that it isnât truly waterproof. If youâre using it in a shower with any kind of water pressure, water can seep in and cause problems. I used mine in the shower for about two weeks for a closer shave, but it started turning on and off by itself in the second week.On the plus side, customer service is excellentâthey responded within an hour of my reaching out. Overall, Iâd rate the product itself three stars, with an additional star for the great customer service.

Great While It Works.
To begin with, I loved the product. It was convenient and allowed me to shave my head quickly. I purchased it in March 2024 and it was great until two months ago when it started to randomly turn on by itself. I write this on August 13 where I find that the shaver can’t be used anymore. When I turn it on, it turns off two seconds later. Now I find it won’t even start charging anymore. I got roughly 5 months of use where I only used it twice a week maximum, while using the FlexSeries shave gel with it and getting the travel bag for it. Now that I see similar reviews with the same experience, I’m forced to find an alternative head shaver to put in the travel case.

Unbeatable value!
I’ve been using Skull Shavers head shaver for the past year and decided it was time to try something new. It seems like the internet can read my mind because right after having that thought, I started getting blasted with Freebird and Manscaped ads introducing their new head shavers. So I went and purchased both of these products. Needless to say, after using the Freebird and Manscaped new head shaver, I will be returning the Manscaped head shaver back to Amazon.Freebird’s head shaver is on par or, if not, better than my Skull Shaver. Whereas, Manscaped head shaver feels a bit lacking. Freebird gave me a much smoother and comfortable shaving experience compared to the latter. The blade head on the Manscaped is also very wobbly and doesn’t feel very secure. The Manscaped head shaver looks amazing, but the performance needs to match the looks! As of right now, it seems to me, Freebird has the best performing head shaver in the market.I do wish Freebird had a removable magnetic blade like Manscaped, but for the price, I can’t complain. Excellent product.
