Saved my back
The product arrived in a timely manner and was simple to put together. I was pregnant and working a desk job at the time I purchased this product. My back had been killing me from sitting all the time. This product changed that entirely. It is comfortable and so much better on your back. I would reccomend. Also the colors are as pictured. This is great alternative office chair seating.

Initial Impressions

This item arrived quickly and was quite easy to put together following the instructions. The hardest part was blowing up the ball, for the nozzle of the air pump really did NOT want to fit into the hole for the ball. The directions also state not to blow the ball up larger than a certain measurement, but did not supply a measuring tool. This would be simply remedied by supplying a ribbon of paper or plastic in the length of diameter that the ball should not exceed. I did follow the protocol of filling it, letting it sit for a few hours, and then filling it more to make it easier as it got hard at the end, and a good bit of air was constantly coming OUT of the pump they provided. I’m not sure if my pump was defective or everyone deals with this.
The brakes, yeah the brakes flip to locked REALLY easily. Simple solution would be to put the two wheels with the locking ability on the rearside of the chair instead of the front. No big deal.
I was under the impression from the description on amazon that the chair comes with that backside piece as a backrest, but the instructions in the box CLEARLY state that it is not strong enough for that purpose and is meant for stability when performing exercises.
I bought this chair to use as an office desk chair as advised by my chiropractor. The ball allows for some lower back and pelvic movement and will hopefully keep my back happier than my standard chair. I love that it doesn’t have armrests. Those only get in the way. I’m very comfortable sitting here as I write this, slowly teetering back and forth. The base adds a level of stability that I appreciate.
I already wish I had paid more for the swivel base, but the reviews for the swivel base showed many issues with breaking.
All in all I’m satisfied with my purchase and hope to get good use out of this.

My favorite ball chair, with some pros and some cons
I’ve tried a variety of ball chairs and this is the brand I continue coming back to at work. It is comfortable enough, but not so comfortable that I can sit for hours and forget to move around, which I like. I like that it engages my core too. There is a slight “learning curve” if you’re used to standard office chairs and go to this one. Your muscles will feel a little sore because you’ll be using muscles to support yourself that you otherwise wouldn’t use in a standard office chair. Some say they have to slowly ease into it but starting with an hour, and moving up from there, but I was fine from the beginning with this chair, so long as I get up every so often and move around.
There are a few things that leave much to be desired with this chair, however. It’s a little lower to the ground than a standard chair, and there’s no way to raise it up. I am really tall and sometimes freak people out standing up from this chair because they have no idea when I’m sitting. 🙂 I do wish it was a little taller or adjustable height-wise. I can live with it though. The thing that bothers me most about this chair is the wheel locks. Two of the wheels have locks and they CONSTANTLY lock themselves. I am doing nothing to them with my feet inadvertently which is what I thought at first. It absolutely drives me crazy that the wheels go into the locked position about every other day. I’ve had two other versions of this chair and the same happened with those as well. It’s a little embarrassing when meeting with someone in my office, and it all of a sudden locks up and I get stuck when trying to move toward them or toward something in the office. Oh well. Even with that, I still continue to come back to this chair and do recommended it. It works well for what it is, and reminds me to get up and move around throughout the day (even if just to unlock the wheels!).

Love this chair
My massage therapist suggested I get this chair to ease back pain from sitting. I did find it a little difficult to inflate. I had to (as instructions indicated) partially inflate, wait 24 hours, then re-inflate. My husband helped with the re-inflation. He inflated and I quickly inserted the plug. I have used it for about 10 days now and I am really happy with the increased comfort. I appreciate that the item came with extra plugs–how many times have we lost a necessary small part?!?! The hand inflator worked surprisingly well. Overall, very pleased with the purchase. It is a great chair at a good price.

I’ve been a fan of “balance balls” as a chair for a long time and finally, due to the price finally being under $100, took the plunge to have the “chair structure” to support the balance ball so I have better control while working…aka…not going to roll away when I move…lol
This chair is perfect! It isn’t high-tech…but it is crazy sturdy and well built.
If anyone has ever put a children’s plastic slide together or plastic playhouse…think THAT sturdy.
The balance ball that comes with the chair seems “thicker” than what I’ve had in the past, so I’m curious to see how it performs with the rubbing against the chair structure. In any case, I’ve been replacing balance balls a lot the last 6 years anyway…this would be no different.
The only recommendation I would make to improve the product would be to send 2 of the blow-up balls instead of just 1…for the price point. This way…customers would have an extra one on hand and not have to wait should something happen to the one they are currently using.
Myself, I’ll be ordering another ball…just to have on hand for this reason.
I would not hesitate to buy this again…and will be recommending it to everyone I know.
