    I Loved this book!!
I have always liked Walker Hayes for his music, his love for his wife and family, and now his transparency of his life, struggles and faith. It was so fun hearing his voice tell his story. The loss he and his family went through and the honesty that he told it was beautiful and healing to me. There are dark days after the loss of a child and he, with the help of their good friends, help bring the light he was searching for. His friend Craig!! A true, unconditional loving friend. He shared the gospel in such a clear and loving way. I’m so excited to see Walker, and hopefully his family at a concert someday. Oh, and Fancy Like Christmas is our new favorite Christmas song!! Thank you Walker!!

    Wow!
I’m cheap. Always check books out, never buy. I also have no spare time. Always listen to books, never read. But I saw a friend’s review on Facebook and knew I wanted to read it. Wow! What a blessing! This book was worth the money and time😂. What an awesome, candid, true, inspiring story/testimony of how God used these two guys to lift, change and build each other up. Now they have written this book my prayer is thousands more will be curious about Walker who is super fun on social media and be moved by what a difference Jesus and his friendship with Craig have made in his life.

    A beautiful, empowering encouragement!
Buy it and read it-you will be recommending it to all of your friends once you are able to put the book down!I read this book in one sitting, and I can not recommend it enough! This story of two unlikely friends and God’s inspiring ability to work things for good is an incredible testimony to anyone. It will especially speak to those who feel lost, are questioning their purpose, or are struggling with disappointment. The authors’ honesty and vulnerability are refreshing and make the reader feel as though the authors “are glad you’re here.” Authenticity is the only way to be truly known and loved, and that truth is made real in these pages through the friendship of the Cooper and Hayes families and the love of Jesus!

A story that reveals the meaning of “good”
Glad You’re Here is a good story, but language betrays how “good”. This is a book not written by experienced authors, though Walker Hayes is a masterful songwriter. It is raw. It is honest. And it is beautifully authentic. This is a story told by two men willing to be vulnerable and share what few would be willing to share. And it is… good. I teared up many times as I read this memoir (along with the audiobook. I loved hearing the story in their own voices.) This book reminds me and encourages me that God is working behind the scenes… always.

Very moving story of God’s grace and redemption.
I read this book from cover to cover in less than a day. I heard about Walker through the song Fancy Like that my little grandson loved and sang repeatedly. I then checked out more of his music and came across the song Craig. Beautiful song. When I heard that THE Craig and Walker Hayes were writing a book together I knew I had to get it. I was not disappointed. The story of these two men and their friendship is awesome. The honest way they write about themselves and how they share the love of God and His mercy is wonderful. You will not want to put it down. Thank you for this book. It is inspiring and encouraging.

    Uplifting and powerful story
What a special gift this book will bring to any reader. The story is told from two perspectives: Cooper’s and Hays’. The story begins with Hays’ “aha” moment to move with his wife Laney and budding family to Nashville after cracking the singer-songwriter bit in his hometown of Mobile, Alabama. Craig then discusses his big move to follow his dream with his family to Nashville. Both go through some big trials, financial burdens and knockdowns while settling into their new Nashville lives. Craig is a pastor, and Hays is a non-believer, and the two tell the story of how they met, became friends, and how their lives changed with the power of faith. The story was told beautifully. These two gifted storytellers have their special ways of bringing a narrative to life. Hay’s down-to-earth and creative humor balances well with Craig’s purposeful and eloquent way, so I enjoyed how each chapter gave equal voice to each writer.I also like the song lyrics put in at just the right moments. We often listen to a song but don’t digest the words and their meanings. This holds for Hays since his country music blends aren’t the typical slow storytelling country ballads but are a blend of different genres like pop and rap. Most readers will love Glad You’re Here because the writing is authentic and honest, a “Wear your heart on your sleeves” story. The book aims to share an inspiring story to move and inspire others. If you are looking for a powerful and uplifting story, this one is a great pick.

What a wonderful story about true friendships and families. Walker was an atheist and Craig a believer. Their friendship healed each other through darkness and good times. I’m glad that I found this book because like everyone we struggle with some things and always need a hand.I am a French deaf and lost my mother from Breast Cancer a few years ago. It was really hard so I choose to believe more in Jesus and God to heal my heart. I may be deaf but I can hear more words than some people because I hear with my heart. We must listen and see with our heart to live in peace. And always be kind to each other. May God bless you!

This book is so beautifully written. I so appreciate Craig talking about some of the challenges he (and we as Christian’s) faced. It was so cool to hear how God allowed for everything to come together the way it did and I’m joining in praying that someone(s) buys a Bible after reading this book. Go Lord!!! All glory to God!
