Messy application but it does work
This dry shampoo is different from others that I use as it’s powder based and not an actual spray. I forgot this detail at first so I got powder all over the place for my first use, which is due to my error. It does work and help my hair absorb oil though. It does provide a bit of volume to my hair as well, but it does harden a little on your hair after use. It’s good for in-between washes without the harsh chemicals of other dry shampoos out there.

A Quick Refresh For Your Hair.
I got this for my wife to try. She has fine hair and used it after she skipped washing it for a couple of days. This bottle operates a little differently than other dry shampoos she has used as it is not an aerosol. Instead, after shaking the bottle, you twist the top to open then squeeze the sides and a burst of white powder comes out. Make sure the bottle is pointing at your head when you squeeze. After waiting a few minutes as per the instructions, she brushed the powder through her hair. Niether of us could not see any powder residue and several hours later she felt it gave her hair more volume and her hair looked less oily. There is an initial “perfumey” fragrance, but that dissipates quickly. We like this product for a quick hair refresher without the need for a full shower and shampoo.

Itâs just a powder, not a spray
I know this says dry shampoo powder, but it also states dry shampoo spray in their product heading. I ordered this assuming it was a spray because the one I currently was using does say dry shampoo powder spray, and itâs in fact an aerosol spray. Also, one of their pictures looks like itâs being sprayed out of the bottle too. Anyways, just want to clear that up before you decide to order, this is a powder and not an aerosol spray product.The instructions on the top of the cap say to squeeze the bottle to dispense the product. When you do that you get a little proof of white powder that comes out. If you want to continue to get powder out you have to shake it each time before you squeeze the bottle or else nothing comes out (not from mine anyways). It does take away any greasiness in your hair but I didnât think it really gave much volume. When I use the aerosol sprays, you can immediately tell a difference in the volume in your hair. Thereâs just a very mild pleasant scent to this powder and once it soaks in it doesnât leave any white residue and I do have brown hair.

kind of tricky, but works
This dry shampoo smells lovely and comes in an easy to use bottle. I found it to be on the messier side, but not unmanageable. I have to really work it in, otherwise i have kind of a ghosty look. I actually found that using this at night before bed works better for me than the day of as it has more time to soak in do its thing.I have extensions and I like that this dry shampoo can buy me an extra day or 2 between shampoos to help keep my extensions looking good for longer. This is a good product once you figure out the little tricks to make it work well for your own particular hair. It’s a little pricey, especially for being a kind of small bottle, but it smells nice and works pretty well.

Excellent dry shampoo powder is superior to aerosols
I love that this dry shampoo is a powder that dispenses into the air rather than an aerosol. It’s a little trickier to apply but the powder didn’t stink up the room for hours like aerosols do. I also love that this powder, which is a combination of starches, does not require propellants so they are better for the environment. After brushing this powder through my brown hair, I did not notice any light patches and it worked well to control and camouflage the oil hair near my scalp.

Prevents greasy hair but difficult to control application
Made in China. Designed in USA. I’ve been trying a few dry shampoos in lieu of washing my hair as often. I’m not a big fan of the spray type of dry shampoo so I actually liked this one which is in powdered form. It’s a white powder like the majority of commercial dry shampoos which is great for lighter hair and not my favorite for dark hair since you run the risk of it showing. I was able to get this one to blend in well enough that it wasn’t noticeable but it’s always a concern that I miss a spot that I can’t see. As far as application, unlike some other dry shampoos, this one is a bit harder to direct and apply. The lid turns to open and you just squeeze the bottle a few inches away from your scalp. It does a pretty good job of covering a good amount of surface area but it’s a little harder to control where it goes. I do like the overall effect with this dry shampoo as it did prevent my hair from looking greasy after 2 days of not washing my hair. It also doesn’t make my hair/ scalp feel overly dry and stiff like I’ve had with some dry shampoos. My hair still feels nice and soft with this one. I also really like that this one does not have a strong scent since I feel like the scents just advertise that I’m not washing my hair.

Freshness and volume!
I love non-aerosol dry shampoo, and this product was definitely a hit for me! It took my flat, greasy hair and made it refreshed and voluminous! I had no issues with white residue in my dark hair and no irritation on my scalp. I love that I can last longer between washes with this product. Highly recommend!

Similar to baby powder
I thought this was a spray, but it’s not. It is baby powder. You squeeze the bottle and powder comes out. It doesn’t smell like the baby kind. It seems to do a similar effect. Powder got everywhere because I didn’t realize it wasn’t a liquid. I am just not that impressed with this. There isn’t much in the bottle. I really enjoy a lot of other Luseta products, but this one is a miss for me.The current price is $18.49 for 2.1oz.
