Not Specific To Cheering
This is a solid concise book if you’re interested in a work about general weight lifting or bodybuilding. The title is deceptive however as there is nothing about how weight training applies to stunting or even cheerleading in general. The book is not specialized in the way the title implies. You can find this same general information in almost any writing about weight lifting. If you want a book slanted toward cheering or a specific sport look else where. (this is one of a series of sports-specific titles on weight lifting that all seem to contain the same advice and identical workouts.) While effective for a beginning bodybuilder these exercises and workouts are too general to focus on specific skills,, the information seems useful for overall strength only- and considering the amount of workout time cheerleading already requires- a full regimen of general powerlifting on top of that several times a week could cause fatigue and other problems.
