Alignment marks are great!
This is a really good yoga mat. The alignment marks help with poses and itâs thick enough that it is comfortable but not so thick to make it unstable. This is a great yoga mat especially at this price point..

Lightweight, grippy, no stretch, very padded
I love this mat so much! I use it for mat pilates. My old mat was a foam type of material that would stretch out making my hands and feet gradually end up farther away. I read so many reviews to pick a mat, and I love this one.It’s very lightweight, so it would be great for travel.The alignment marks are very helpful so that in any position you can use them as a reference for symmetry.Even though it looks thin, it’s very padded so my spine never hurts when I do roll downs or anything.It doesn’t have any stretch to it so my positions aren’t hard to hold.It has no smell which is something a lot of reviews for other mats mention.It’s grippy.I’m very happy with it especially for the price. I wish it came in more colors!

Love this yoga mat! But, wouldn’t consider it non-slip
Initial impression of this yoga mat was that it is a sturdy, durable material. I have used it now for a couple of different styles of yoga classes (mostly restorative and power yoga) and I really do love it. The line design is unique (at least I had never seen it before) and helpful for both beginners or seasoned veterans. The thickness is perfect and provides just the right amount of cushion. All of my practices have been done with the yoga mat on a hardwood floor and my knees are not screaming in pain. The mat is just very aesthetically pleasing too. I know that might sound silly to some, but it is nice to have a mat that is both pretty to look at and is highly functional and of good quality. My only complaint is that during down-dog and power yoga classes the mat can get a bit slippery. It is not enough to deter me from using this mat though and I would still highly recommend it. Most likely, I will just have to purchase a yoga towel to help with this. Overall, this is a high quality mat at a very reasonable price.

Nice mat. I liked the guidelines on the mat, but it’s too sticky. My feet kept getting caught when doing anything that required quick lateral movements. Length and thickness were good. Did return it since I thought there was a danger of losing balance and falling as feet dragged.

Non-slip comfort mat
I am new to yoga at age 57 and have arthritis so even attempting these moves is difficult. But I have tried 3 kinds of mats and this one is my favorite. It is easy to roll up, light weight and not bulky and most important is that I don’t slip on it. Some mats have a slight sheen, or they are too spongy. This one is just right. I can hold poses easier without much of a balance issue (for me), I don’t slide, it doesn’t buckle near feet pressure points like some do in my class AND your feet to make that annoying sound when you have to peel them off the mat changing positions like the other mats do. There is also no smell to this mat and the color is great. The position lines help me somewhat also. Like I said I am new so I’m not experienced with poses yet, but I do tend to get off set and these help me position better. Buy this mat, you won’t be disappointed. I did not receive anything for this review, just trying to help others.

Excellent mat
Very good mat for the price. The foam mat is thin, but dense: itâs comfortable to use, but rolls up nice and thin. I find myself really enjoying having the alignment markings. Iâve had no problem with it slipping on any surface.Iâve had this for a month or so and use is several times a week. I use it for outdoor yoga at times, and I wipe it down after, so that grit does not scratch it. I keep it rolled up and out of the way when not in use. I baby it a bit, as I suspect itâs not the most durable mat, but so far, itâs held up well and there are no scuffs or tears to the foam. Very pleased.

Definitely un upgrade from basic! Warm, comforting and supportive feel.
I bought this Ewedoos yoga mat to upgrade from the basic GAIAM ones you can get anywhere for $10-15, and I am very happy with it! It is longer than a basic mat, which is nice for a tall girl like me (5â10â), and it is a bit thicker too. The extra thickness was noticeably more comfortable on my bony ankles and backâso that definitely felt like an upgrade too. The general feel of the mat during my practice was warm, comforting, and supportive. It has a slight give, but it is still firm enough for me to feel very stable in all my poses. I personally enjoyed the warmth of the texture, but I can imagine it might not be the right mat for someone who runs hot, and sweats a lot. I did not have any problem with the grip, but I donât usually. I would say my hands and feet definitely felt more secure on this mat in downward dog and plank poses than my old one. AND, I love the design. I specifically sought one out with a symmetrical design to help align my feet. I would take anything with a center line, but I appreciate the simplicity of the markings on this one especially. As for the color, I love the peaceful and grounding dark blue that I got, but I did notice that you could see dry skin flakes on it after a practice… so, if this would bother you, just go for a light color one!
