Not the highest quality but I feel better knowing we have these
âï¸âï¸âï¸âï¸The Frelaxy Emergency Tent Emergency Sleeping Bag Set is a reliable and versatile option for emergency preparedness. Here’s why I’ve given it four stars:Firstly, the set includes both an emergency tent and a sleeping bag, providing essential shelter and warmth in emergency situations. The materials are durable and weather-resistant, offering protection from the elements in a variety of conditions.I appreciate the compact and lightweight design of the set, making it easy to carry in a backpack or emergency kit. It’s perfect for outdoor adventures, camping trips, or keeping in the car for unexpected situations. The bright orange color of the tent and sleeping bag adds visibility, making it easier for rescuers to spot in case of an emergency. This is an important safety feature that enhances the effectiveness of the set. However, I deducted one star because the sleeping bag can be a bit thin, and may not provide sufficient insulation in extremely cold temperatures. Additionally, while the tent is easy to set up, it may not be as durable as more expensive options on the market.Overall, the Frelaxy Emergency Tent Emergency Sleeping Bag Set is a practical and affordable option for emergency preparedness. With a few minor improvements, it could easily be a five-star product.

Great for emergency kit!
I got this to put in my truck as we drive long distances in the back roads and even mountains in the back country. I already have an emergency bivy for my survival kit when I backpack but this is a great complimenting set for the car, backpack or wherever you may need it. They come individually but inside one durable case for organization. The case is tough with a little extra room if you wanted to put small items in there for any other emergency gear.

Added to the emergency kit
After a cold night of camping in January, I ordered the emergency bivvy sack to use when I just canât warm up. Thereâs a Korean camper that I follow on YouTube that prefers winter camping. She stuffs herself and her sleeping bag inside of her emergency bivvy sack and swears by them. I see that campers like her use their emergency supplies and think that I should test mine out as well I like the material. Itâs seems like it could be durable enough for repeated use although I think itâs the same Mylar that balloons are made ofâ¦thatâs funny. Iâm sleeping inside of a gist birthday balloon. I can see how the material would reflect heat back towards my body.

Lightweight, great idea for having in the car or hiking pack
Space blankets or Mylar, are one of the absolute best inventions for hiking, survival etc. I have a few of them myself. When I saw a different twist on the concept of having a space blanket in the car I decided to try it out.In this package you get a Mylar blanket and a “tent”. This isn’t the normal tent your thinking of, this is more like a tarp, but designed to be used as a tent, plus 2 emergency whistles, and some cordage to help with setting up the tent.So what you are getting is a double layer of protection in the case of an emergency. The Mylar has a reflective side that is designed to reflect heat back to you.All of this comes in a nice lightweight little case, it’s a little bulky but will stow somewhere nicely in a vehicle and not take up much room.My only issue with any product like this is, well it’s like toothpaste. You can’t get it back in the tube. As long as you don’t get any tears in the material, its reusable but goodluck getting it back to its factory storage configuration.Other than that it’s lightweight, has a decently sized small footprint and is a great idea to have on hand in case of emergency.

Lightweight, easy to pack on a day hike.
Inside this black case are two orange nylon bags with the blanket and tent in them. You can leave the black case at home if you want to save ounces. The tent does not come with any cord, though, so you’ll need to obtain and pack that. Paracord is good. It comes with two EXTREMELY loud whistles, and should probably include ear plugs! I set it up for a scout meeting on a cold night, and you could sit comfortably inside it with the ends open, feeling considerably warmer than outside of it.However, I want to be clear, it is simply a cylinder of mylar, reflective silver on one side, and reflective orange on the other. No cord, no grommets, no loops or ties. It is delicate, hard to work with, very thin, and doesn’t hold a shape, but hey, in an emergency it will do the job and it’s very lightweight because of these characteristics. I’d expect it to get one use, anything else is bonus. I was able to repack it for myself after my demo, but it’s not easy.As a cheap, lightweight emergency tent, though, excellent.

Good to have just in case
I ordered this to toss in my truck in case I ever get stuck in a snow storm while away from home. While that’s likely not going to happen, it doesn’t hurt to be prepared. Emergency blankets are a must for any sort of vehicle preparedness kit just like road flares, so the addition of a reflective survival shelter makes for even greater peace of mind. Its small size makes it unobtrusive and it doesn’t take up very much space, though I would prefer if the zippered case it comes in had some sort of reflective strip or bright coloration to make it easier to find in a dark vehicle. Would recommend if you want to be safe, not sorry.
